Not everything in praise is contained in the lyrics of the song, the melody is also important because it is part of the inspiration. And what inspires us today? Absolutely not. Of course, God can be glorified with this music as long as it comes out of the heart of man. But there is a tendency that increasingly fits into modernist and secular rather than spiritual. For example, some people already think that Christian tattoos, piercings and hats during praise and prayer are already normal. So it is with inspiration in music and praise.

I don't mean any disrespect to you but I feel like your comment just isn't right. Main stream secular music doesn't sound like Worship music at all. I think all can agree that if you're in the club and all of sudden "Oceans" or this song "Miracles" started to play the mood would die because the Worship mood and melody turns the focus onto God. Ultimately, I think you like whatever type of mood or melody you like and CCM is going another direction that you're not okay with so you try to make it spiritual. At the end of the day, this music glorifies God, people are experiencing life change (proof is in the comments), and God looks at the heart not the outer surfaces. So unless you know these big band members personally I don't see how you can give an honest opinion.
