One of the few MTV unplugged performances where the drummer played everything differently and quietly, instead of full-blast drumming exactly the same as their electric performances.

They had the best harmony of almost any rock band...60's, 70's, 80's 90's, till now

Layne is indeed the superstar, but Jerry is the rock on which he stands. Without Jerry Cantrell there is no Layne Staley. Period.

I'd have to disagree. I think Layne in Mad Season was great. Yeah they are arguably an unstoppable force together, but I wouldnt go so far to say without Jerry, there wouldn't be Layne.

I've had a serious AIC addiction since I first heard their music at age 20. I turned 50 this year and my addiction is stronger than ever. Layne's voice is unrivaled and IMO the GOAT. Still rocking out in 2019 and into the foreseeable future. RIP Layne 💜

even though i was VERY young when Layne died and was late to the AIC party, Layne has always struck a very emotional and deep place for me. will always love AIC and will always feel like im in a different world when i listen to them all. We need some Layne here in 2019.
