Ahhh it felt so good to hear this again I somehow forgot how much this song meant to me during a very dark time a while back

There's a unique echo in the background that always made us feel extra spaced and distant when listening to this stoned.

Nothing quite like classic A.I.C , although I still enjoy the new stuff...,Jerry still kicks ass , Sean and Mike are always solid and Will does a great job with vocals and harmonizing with Jerry, but its different. Layne had such a powerful, emotional voice, it cant be duplicated. . I cant help but wonder where A.I.Cs music would be today if Layne had made it though his addiction. 3 L.Ps and 2 E.Ps just wasn't enough.

Same😎 but his career was still pretty prolific considering everything they put out was absoltely amazing. I can't think of any other band that I can say that about. Not one bad song 🤑

he doesnt credit Layne with the vocals and even though jerry does at most back up vocals he gets the whole vocal credit lol

@NEPA SRP Yea Layne had pain in his voice, no disrespect to William hes doing gods work. But it doesn't have the sensation, it might sound the same, but its just not as emotionally heavy. Layne was like no other. Williams couldn't write a song like this.

This song is dark and haunting even for Alice in Chains. It's also one of the most beautiful songs they've ever written.

Their blend of light and dark is what makes their music so great. It's never been done before and nobody will be able to replicate their sound, not in a million years. Layne and Jerry had a chemistry together.
