Alice Cooper - No Baloney Homosapiens Lyrics

Hey you out there in outer space
You're lookin' at some style and grace
The blood and gutty human race
Well, come on down here to meet us

And all you sightings up there in the sky
Feel free to drop in anytime
Anytime you're just kinda passin' by
And you get the urge that you want to see us

Oh, we're fun and games
Just guys and just dames
But don't call us names
And most of all, please don't eat us

'Cause we're no baloney, homosapiens
We ain't phoney
Oh we're no baloney homsapiens

Listen, just 'cause you got
More ears than eyes
That just gives you more places to cry
And acutely hear all the moans and sighs
Of the relatives of the people
You disintegrated

And don't you say we're easy prey
'Cause buddy, that's the day
Your underestimation will defeat you
But don't worry, we're civilized
And we won't eat you

'Cause we're no baloney, we're homosapiens
We ain't no phoney
Yeah, we're no baloney homosapiens

We're black and white
You're green and blue
Well, we're all right, so are you... I think
My blood's thick red
You bleed black glue
So, let's not bleed at all
Is that all right with you

Yes, we're no baloney, we're homosapiens
We're not phoney
Yeah, we're no baloney homosapiens

Yes, we're no baloney, homosapiens
Take it back with ya
We're no baloney homosapiens
No baloney, homosapiens

lets be honest, he sounds completely off his face on this.

  2. T.... B....

    Alice Cooper for president

  3. E.... &....

The b/w youtube live video has been removed, however, this song is the greatest, coolest thematic tune for the WB/DC Gods And Monsters animated storyline and Synders vision...pretty cool concept.

  4. S.... P....

This is like if Rocky Horror Picture Show was written and performed by Alice Cooper.

  5. E.... &....

The Atlantian ode to General Zod: Forget the yellow-sun, alien, in our dojo, you will learn what earths largest kingdom does to foreign tyrants. 😚

  6. M.... M....

This song doesn't belong on this album.

  7. H.... W....

all i know is the message ended with: "to kal from bruce"

Goddamn, I just recently got into Alice's early eighties work, I used to be strictly seventies, but DAMN! Why have I kept myself from these albums! All four of them are just soooooooo damn interesting! DaDa is a mind-blowing!

As a 30 year Coop fan, I always preferred the OG Alice Cooper band, but I've recently revisited re-evaluated this album, and absolutely love it now. Probably my favourite now amongst his blackout era albums. Flush The Fashion has some cool songs as well that I recently rediscovered, like Grim Facts, and Headlines. I'm slowly getting into some of Dada. I think Zipper Catches Skin is very underrated.

I wonder if I can make a sanwhich out of this album. I made it for my ears.

Zipper is his best album since Billion Dollar Babies.
    No filler at all.
