Alice Cooper - Look At You Over There, Ripping The Sawdust From My TeddyBear Lyrics
You got your crust
Turning my daydreams into dust
Oh look at you over there
Ripping the sawdust from my teddybear
Ripping the sawdust from my teddybear
You're so darn pretty girl
Well I think you know it you was you
On Monday morning putting back yakity yak
Oh look at you over there
Ripping the sawdust from my teddybear
Yeah now look at you over there
Ripping the sawdust from my teddybear
You take the pebbles from the babies rattle
You make Santa's raindeer look like cattle
You take Tinkerbells rust
And turn it into sawdust
Yeah now look at you over there
Ripping the sawdust from my teddybear
Yeah look at you over there
Ripping the sawdust from my teddybear
You take the pebbles from the babies rattle
You make Santa's raindeer look like cattle
You take Tinkerbells rust
And turn it into sawdust
You got your crust
Turning my daydreams into dust
Yeah now look at you over there
Ripping the sawdust from my teddybear
Yeah now look at you over there
Ripping the sawdust from my teddybear
Look at you over there
Look at you over there
Look at you over there
Look at you over there
Look at you over there
Look at you over there
Yeah look at you over there
Look at you over there
Look at you over there
Look at you over there
Look at you over there
Over there, over there, over there, over there
My poor teddybear, teddybear, teddybear, teddybear

Alice Cooper Look At You Over There, Ripping The Sawdust From My TeddyBear Comments
This song has a really addicting sound/vibe to it.. in a weird way.... can't get it out of my head for days...
I never would want any of you to rip the sawdust over there from my precious teddy bear, he's all I got !
I’m really high and this song does not feel real AT ALL
It isn't real, it's stuffed
It's a shame this was removed from Special Forces, but it probably would have fit better on DaDa or Zipper Catches Skin.
Where Did You Found This Song?
It's on the box set
Just got Italian promo of Special Forces!
Does anyone else feel the Bowie vibes ?
OMG! how did I forget about this song!
Too bad, that the animated video has been removed from YouTube
I miss it too. It was so cool
So, this track was listed on the back of my Special Forces LP. It was a total mystery. Was it some message, a shout out that I couldn't understand? As a 13teen year old before the Internet, I had no idea what this song could be. My first time hearing it today. I understand why it wasn't included now. Doesn't really fit the whole vibe of SP seems more like a candidate for "From the Inside" Which is also one of my First Alice influences. I know, l went to Alice using the back door. I didn't really find the original band until a friend of my father gifted me with the entire set of LPs (Pretties for you to Muscle of Love) on a sunny thanksgiving in 1984. What a saint, I owe that man many happy days.
This song is a bit jazzy and positive relative to Special Forces. Still, it has a nice hook and was a bit of a lament to heartbreak. it Would have made a nice single during this era of quirky music
Monday morning quarterback yakkity yak. Awesome! Only alice could come up with that.
I have my copy framed hanging on the wall in my office.
I had Alice sign my copy back in 2007. He said "that was a weird time for me!"
Why would anyone remove such a great song from any album?
Samuel Runt ....so we could discover it several years later. And this song was a discovery and a half!
Great song, but it doesn’t fit the snarl of SF.
Awesome groove!!! Love this song!!!
Underrated song. Was removed from the tracklist right before release. The vinyl copies still have it listed on the back cover.
I kinda became obsessed with hearing the song, because of it's evocative title, coupled with it's last minute deletion. What would a song like that sound like?
@Jeff G Thanks for posting! I've owned this vinyl for years and always wondered what this song sounded like.
Also wondered what that was about as a kid. And the cd release just has a tacky red line over it, on the release I have anyway. You can tell it was just painted over because it didn't look like the rest of the red on the cover and it wasn't artistic looking at all just a weird red line that obviously wasn't part of the photograph
