Alice copper' s music is perfect when it comes to glam metal

I saw this tour in Indy in November 1987. I always knew Alice could excel in metal, and he did just that with Kane Roberts and Ken Mary. This was his hardest rocking lineup ever. I wish this group would have stayed together for a couple more albums and tours.

I went to see Alice Cooper at The Emerald Queen Casino, I was Blown Away. It was a phenomenally great show. About a year later,he came back a little before or after Xmas? That show was even better than the last one I went to. Alice puts on a really good show. Actually I seen him 3 times,he opened for Motley Crue at White River Amphitheatre. He blew Vince off the stage. I like Motley Crue too,but after a few songs Vince's vocals went to shit. I felt bad for Mick Mars,his back had to be killing him. He had to lean against the amps sometimes. He has anklosingspondlitis. Very very bad back problems.

RYFAY is a strong album, something of an overlooked gem in Alice's back catalogue. It's also unique: the one and only time in his career Alice used anti-religious themes in his lyrics. "BACK OFF preacher I don't care if it's Sunday! I ain't no angel...but I never felt better!" If I ever got the chance to interview Alice (what a dream that would be) I would definitely ask him about what was, for him, a highly unusual creative choice. I wonder how he feels about it now?

What an album Raise Your Fist And Yell was.He did a fantastic job of reinventing himself after the alcohol almost killed him.Who knows what might have happened with him had hair metal not come upon the scene at the time.Great album this was!
