Alice Cooper - Fields Of Regret Lyrics

Forever I'll enjoy you undertaking come to see you every day now if I can
Is it not the time for everybody I still wake on the fields of regret
There is something to this dream we're all involved in can I see it can I say it may exist
Why then don't the night show really matters if we dwell in the fields of regret
What horror must invade the mind when the approaching judge shall find sinful deeds from all mankind
With death and nature in surprise behold the wretched sinners rise to meet the judge's searching eyes
And when the doomed no more can flee from the flames of misery assist me while I die
Wander through those ever thoughts though if imagined but come down on it's so easy to resist
Rest me hide my years upon the planet sound another no part over won't forget
When we laugh at the fields of regret

Alice Cooper Fields Of Regret Comments
  1. A.... L....

This is the true masterpiece of the pre-BDB era. I love this way better than SO.

  2. A.... L....

There is something to this song I'm OBSESSED with.

  3. A.... L....

wouldn't it be great if he dusted this one off and played it live?

  4. A.... L....

STILL OBSESSED WITH THIS AWESOME SONG

  5. L.... S....

Just about the deepest psychedelic rock ever created since it was a rehearsal. Frank Zappa signed them, had them come to the studio, left, came back later and said the record was finished. Raw, unadulterated rock.

  6. J.... A....

    amazing musical trip this is!

Hearing some echo and special effects in places that I don't remember from the vinyl, and I'm DIGGING it! Could this be a case of CD remastering actually being an IMPROVEMENT? It SURE wasn't for The Mothers of Invention 'We're Only in it For the Money' album, or any early ZZ Top.

Pretties for You is the debut studio album by American rock band Alice Cooper, released on June 25, 1969 by Straight Records.

i really like the atmosphere of this song. the lyrics almost make sense too ! psychedelic Alice Cooper is really cool. i think this album is better than Easy Action

    in fact they belong together
    best double album ever made

    Alice Cooper rules!xoxoThe Clarences

  23. T.... ....

You can hear Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd and early Fleetwood Mac in this album.... What a time it was..

    T.... ....

Definitely hear some of Syd's Pink Floyd in this.

    T.... ....

... and Doors. Bass line is like 'When The Music's Over' at times.

    T.... ....

Plus early Deep Purple on this track, listen to their first two albums
And VERY Doors in the instrumntals

    T.... ....

@TheSilentshinigami that's what I thought too... I knew that bass line was DOORS

  24. C.... M....

I wish I could teleport myself to his concerts and zap up some primo tickets and VIP backstage passes.

  25. M.... C....

    Science fiction.

    M.... C....

I remember that too. I still have no idea why they used a different song title for when they played it live.

    M.... C....

what do you mean, science fiction?

    M.... C....

Science Fiction is an unauthorized live album release of the Alice Cooper Band. Originally released on vinyl in the UK in 1987 as Ladies Man, this CD version was released throughout Europe and Australia in 1991 and re-issued in 2000. Over the years, this collection of songs has been released several times by various record labels under different titles, using slightly different track titles and track orders.

    M.... C....

Nick Garren I have the actual unedited cd.
Correct speed tempo track names correct order and not those two songs that ain't even alice.

    M.... C....

@Nick Garren "Science Fiction" is also the song title they used for Fields of Regret when they played it live. I'm assuming that's why Mikey said it. If you can find it, check out the album Nobody Likes Me (live material from the Toronto Rock & Roll Revival of 1969) to see what I mean. It looks like it's being blocked for sale online, for some reason. Something to do with Alice's record company probably.

  26. D.... S....

Great song...pretty good album! Didn't like it the first couple of listened to it.

  27. J.... M....

I want this song played at my funeral.
