Alice Cooper - Dyslexia Lyrics

Sometimes my world goes upside down
Sometimes I see things backwards
When I go walking in town, can't get back home
Someimes I see things right to left

And I know that's not right at all
But since I bumped into you, I bump into walls
And no one knows what's wrong with me
They think that I got dropsie

Is dis love?
Or is dyslexia
Dyslexia
Dyslexia

I've got these glasses real thick and green
Just like the bottoms of coke bottles
I stumble 'round my house, so strange to me

Sometimes my world goes upside down
Sometimes I see things backwards
But since I bumped into you, I bump into walls
And no one knows what's wrong with me
They think that I got dropsie

Is dis love?
Or is dyslexia
Dyslexia
Dyslexia

I've got these glasses real thick and green
Just like the bottoms of coke bottles
I stumble 'round my house, so strange to me

Sometimes my world goes upside down
Sometimes I see things backwards
But since I bumped into you, I bump into walls
And no one knows what's wrong with me
They think that I got dropsie

Is dis love?
Or is dyslexia
Dyslexia
Dyslexia, yeah
Dyslexia
Dyslexia, no
Dyslexia
yeah no yeah no yeah no yeah...

Alice Cooper Dyslexia Comments
  1. D.... M....

This song is like a mantra to me! Ever so often it reappears in my mind thru the decades, since it was released. And I need to go back and listen to it again! It's such a very special and wonderful song!

  2. R.... S....

How was this not a single??

  3. A.... S....

this album is fantastic, but also zipper catches skin, think of it, it is horror with sooo much humor .....

  4. T.... B....

    Θρίαμβος της επιστήμης!!

  5. A.... &....

Why Warner Bros was so negative to this album is beyond me. The idiots in suits could have had a massive hit with marketing and air time. This album and many others by Alice would have been huge hits and "classics" if they were done by a dozen other artists. Imagine the Elton Johns, David Bowies etc doing these albums. You'll never hear the end of the praise

  6. A.... &....

Alice should drop staples like I'm Eighteen and Schools Out that get stale, like Metallica playing Enter Sadman and Seek and Destroy every night. How about he does medleys from albums he hardly plays. A Goes to Hell medley, Zipper medley, Dada medley etc. Sample 4 or 5 songs in 3 minutes. And please add a keyboard player to your band. He's got such a huge catalog

  7. C.... S....

This has been my favorite Cooper album for many years. My brother had a teacher in school who had all of Cooper's albums on vinyl and he recorded them all on cassette for my brother.I loved the old stuff, but I was completely mesmerized by this album, and still am to this day!

  8. H.... C....

Reminds me a bit of David Bowie

    H.... C....

This probably sounds most like a band called Devo. If you're not familiar with them, and you like this tune, I seriously recommend that you check them out, especially the tune "Beautiful World" by them

  9. S.... W....

I'm really listening to DaDa for the first time since it came out. Good one from A!

  10. W.... ....

Dada, Flush The Fashion and Zipper Catches Skin...all very strange but great albums none the less.

  11. E.... ....

Underrated unusual experimental new wave/pop from Alice Cooper´s album Dada

  12. A.... B....

He is like gary moore underated

  13. m.... c....

Too weird to be bad, reminiscent of Eno stuff In 801

  14. A.... L....

I LOVE this new wave rock stuff he did. "flush the fashion" thru "DaDa" . new wave is my favorite pop music era. and his new wave era is excellent.

  15. E.... A....

I don't know what to think of this. My first time listening to one of his Blackout Albums. Never heard anything like this. Almost reminds me of The Cure.

    E.... A....

I can't believe I'm listening to this again.

    E.... A....

It does that. Its that fingerpicking guitar.

  16. s.... i....

Hey ShiftaelV2 don't forget Flush The Fashion . It was the first of these 4 underrated works, also my favorite.

  17. D.... P....

A remix of this could have been huge. A hit single.

    D.... P....

    doubt it

    D.... P....

yeah a remix that changed everything lol

    D.... P....

He was high on crack at the time

    D.... P....

@Craig Kensy Yes,but his relapse back into alcohol was also true.It was then he truly got help and quit everything for good.

  18. D.... G....

    DaDa is a masterpiece

    D.... G....

    you can say that again

    D.... G....

I like alice, but this album is pretty bad lol

    D.... G....

You might throw Flush the Fashion in there with Zipper & Special Forces...

    D.... G....

    DADA is Broadway worthy!!

    D.... G....

Yes sir.It is my favorite of all time.
