My best friend wants to commit suicide and its hard to convince her not to, I want to send her that song to her but we dont stay in contact much and since she moved I dont k,ow what's going on or if she's dead and we are only eleven. Seven years ago my Mom got cancer. Three years later she died. My father, my three brothers (now 10, 12 and 16) and me (13) didn't understand why. She was such a good person and she believed in Christ so much.
This song was an answer to many questions, for me.
It is so beautiful and I love your voice!!❤

This song reminds me of my ex-girlfriend. She was a lot like you, but she lacked the strong friends supporting her, and I wasnt strong enough for the both of us. She committed suicide, and every night I see her face, every night I go to bed thinking about what else I could have done or what I should have done differently. I love this song for letting me mourn, and appreciate you for reminding me of her in so many ways. She was a beautiful, smart and compassionate soul, and I think you are too! If you are at all interested, I would love to talk to you about her, see if you really are as similar as I think! Stay strong, keep your friends around and never forget: You are beautiful just the way you are, noone can take that away from you!

This past Monday a very close family friend went to sleep and never woke up the next morning. She wasn't ill...there was no accident...theres no one to blame....she just passed away...just like that with no reason. She was only 49 with a husband and two sons one of whom is only 10 years old and the other 23 but who has now lost both his mother and father who was stabbed because of something as pointless as a mobile phone when he was only 8.. My heart bleeds for them, and hearing this song now you've put my feelings into words...I so badly want to help and take their pain away but there is nothing I can do or say to make this even slightly better for them for even just a second...all I can do is hug them tight and cry when they cry.
Sometimes there are no warnings in life when the unspeakable happens, so if you're reading this hold your loved ones close and dont let go, because you just never know.

I lost my best friend a year ago. She told me that she was tired of life and that she didn't know how to go on, but I never in a million years thought she would actually give up. I still can't shake the guilt. If I had just told someone how she was feeling maybe she'd still be here by my side. I feel like I've failed her and her family. I was her best friend, I was supposed to be the one to protect her and now she's gone. Life hasn't been the same without her. 😔

Jaimie Slone I lost my best friend when he was only a few days short of turning 17. I am 44 now and the guilt still haunts me because he asked me to call him and for some reason, I didn't. I thought he'd be ok. I squashed these feelings for 25 years but they have resurfaced because I never dealt with them correctly. 25 years ago suicide was incredibly taboo. But I do know that he would never want me to feel any guilt surrounding his death.... but it's easier said then done. Are you getting any counseling? I really recommend talking to someone so you don't have to deal with the very fresh and raw pain 25 years later. God bless you honey. Thank you for sharing your story. 😘

You can't fail other people. Believ me... I know, my friend wouldnt be here now if she hadnt told me her feelings about her life and how she wanted to kill herself and she thought no one liked her. I told her "Your friends need you including me, ive been with you since the beginning of school (5th grade) and we do care, remember that god has your life planned out in a comic strip or a book, and only he can see it, he knows when the right time for you to die is and its not right now."

I feel like I can't take care of her anymore because she moved away and I wish I could know of she's alright or not. Alex G has a great voice and her songs are beautiful and have an inspirational meaning to them and a lot of mixed feelings along with sadness, You didn't fail anyone and no one should think its your fault because it isn't, they just needed some help with their decisions, so dont let their death haunt you for the rest of your life.💕💞🙏

Well, when I saw your Tweet about this upload, I literally ran into my room to listen to this song. I closed my eyes and after I heard the first verses, I was like "Ok, that's enough, I have to cry, I'm out", 'cause this song is so beautiful and sad at one time. It reminds me so much on my mum, who died almost 9 years ago, and my favorite singer (Chester from Linkin Park). This song gave to me so many feelings, I cried a lot. Because even if I never lived this, one of my closest friend is deseperately sad, and I'm really afraid that one day she will stop her life...I do my best to help her but we're so young it's so difficult...she deserves the best but the life wasn't easy with her...
