Sure. Christianity has infested the world, causing mass psychosis in which Christian and non-Christian persons alike see crosses where none exist. Such as in this video, in which the single, vertical log has no horizontal piece connected to it what so ever. Obviously then, being thick and upright, it is a pagan phallic symbol representing the Black Death God's big dick. What the scene means then, is that although the hipster bicyclist dude resurrected Aldous from the ashen black tomb of her white house (which has obviously burnt down because it does not appear in the video), in looking back over his shoulder, he sees that the Death God's dick is bigger than his own, and thus realizes that he ultimately cannot save her. So, not wanting to be codependent, he pedals off back to his house to listen to Black Sabbath's Sabbath Bloody Sabbath on 8-Track. Meanwhile, Aldous is pissed off at him for leaving, because she is stuck writing folk music and does not have any heavy metal to listen to. Plus, all she got was a kiss, when she really wanted to get laid. But not by the Death God, because he is mean, and is suspected of burning down her house. Does this explain the scene clearly enough?
