you can tell she loves playing music and singing, listen to the control she has over her vocal chords, her timing with the chords, the key changes, all wonderful and exciting! I hear a sound of the human core that is in all of us,,no one like her,

She's a VIP underneath the coy persona (when the guy said the kitten was trying to upstage her, her response was 'good luck'). Oh dear. Quite an unattractive response and showing a side of her that is very self-important.

She is amazing and for me, she looks totally lost in herself in a way that benefits the music. It is sometimes raw visually, as her feelings are some so expressive, but it is just so beautiful to behold.

@Stella Boulton: I'm allergic to cats. If they rub up against me my skin breaks into a rash and it affects my breathing. Maybe she has the same problem.

Either way it's her fucking business if she doesn't want to play with the fucking cat. In fact, what the hell is a cat doing in an interview show? And what business is it of yours? Go play with your own damn cat but stop making judgement calls about things you don't know anything about or don't concern you.

P.S. cats absolutely decimate the native bird life in N.Z, you literally see one out of every ten they catch.

Living in Aus,i have missed everything about her,only found out about her today via Myf Warhurst on Triple J,Myf gave her the most amazing review,said she is the best live act she has seen in years,stops her in her tracks every time.

what a difference between this and the first appearance on 13th floor. (i find this show to be really awkward. I'd hate being interviewed from someone looming over me in a bigger chair, with their clipboard! Also, with an animal on me I clearly don't like!)

Indeed, but we've got to just keep soldiering on. Heaven's a shit place anyhow... Just a bunch of old relatives and Mormons making macaroni pictures. Even Aldous sings about how empty it is. Purgatory's shite too, basically just an airport admiral's club with no booze in a sea of wailing, unbaptized babies... I think I'll take my chances here in the firey depths

reminds me a bit of trying to interview mazzy star - their interviews were pretty awkward too - both express themselves in their music & have difficulty talking about it

Stunning, a game changer

Although it's not the most entertaining of interviews, it is nice to see her not performing, just chatting.
She's lovely, Marty seems to be a very nice guy as well. The camera focus was a bit off during the interview, but probably intentional (?).
Also, what most impressed me is how much she can change, from the Blend video to this interview and everything in between. Lots of layers on this one...

Yeah strange. She was a lot more giving in his first interview with her on 13th floor.
Just starting out, fresh and eager. Is it just her quirks, a new fear of interviews or something else?
Strange to see the change.

Petting the cat would have helped but she seemed above it..... or maybe doesn't know how to connect to beings. ?
