Ah, this song. My mom and older sister used to listen to this all the time in car rides when I was little, they just loved it. And with the help of my imagination, I used to imagine how Morissette felt as she was singing this song. Like in some of the lyrics, where she says she's poor but kind, sick, sad, lost, etc. I used to imagine her lost in the woods or somewhere not close to her house or whatever, which made me feel really sad and scared that she's lost and she's suffering from all of these emotions she said she has.
