Heard this song at home on the radio ...Was on my way to Chicago that afternoon...Got to Battle creek..Went inside this little country gas station They had cassettes ..I found the tape...Put this bad jam on when I got in the truck and played it all the rest of the way..Lovin it...Got to Chicago ..Went into a bar It was on the Juke box . I filled the Jukebox up playing this song for hours while in in the bar..the people were getting tired of it..I didn't care Continue playing for the entire week while I was in Chicago.I had one bad ass man with me..

It's an awesome cover. I must say that Karen Carpenter's voice conveyed more sensitivity. Not that this version is bad. Then again I've been to Karen's grave and realized how much I loved her. I would want to meet her if she were still alive.

Wow; you just took the words out of my mouth ....i am here because i was in Westlake recently just to visit her final resting place and i have to say her version of this song i can listen over and over and over again and it is still i think the prettiest song i have ever head EVER...i was surprised to see Alabama performed ti too but they did a lovely job, really ...it is just such a beautiful song ....i would love to hear Allison Kraus do this number or Sarah McLachlin even but in my heart no one can sing it like sweet Karen Did ...she was lost way too soon.

Alabama songs were the best and sung to me all the time. OMG, could Keith ever sing, Touch Me When We're Dancing, She & I, When we make Love, Feels So Right, and he did sound so much like Randy. I will never forget how he made me feel then, and yet today, 28 yrs later...XXXOOO
