This song made me cry as it applies to men as much as ladies. My wife of 29 years recently divorced me after I retired and my income went down so I couldn't afford to buy her a new car like she wanted. Our Injustice system gave her half of everything I spent my life earning. What really hurts is knowing now that the only reason she stayed with me was for money and so she wouldn't have to be responsible for taking care of herself. I will get over this in time and move on with my life, but I don't think I'll ever be able to trust another woman, which is sad.

Ladies, there are some good guys out here who will treat you like you deserve. I'm sorry you got your heart broken but you have to be open to love and let a true gentleman in your life. I'm 56, went on a date last night with a beautiful lady, I felt so excited and attracted to her and felt like a teenager first experience. We were getting along great and I was feeling so happy and confident that she might be the one. She was sitting in a high barstool and I was standing beside her, rubbing her neck and kissing her. She looked at me and said, "damned, you've got a hard on!". Then I felt crushed when she told me she wasn't going to give me a chance because of her past hurt and she didn't want to be vulnerable again. I should probably just move on and find a good woman who has a bright future ahead of her and not one who is mired in the past. Are there any out there? Of course not all the blame goes to the woman but IT IS TRUE that no matter what they say, most of them like bad boys. Then, SURPRISE! They get shit on. So instead of choosing a good man next time around, they hook up with another "exciting" bad boy, get shit on again, go to oprah and proclaim all men are bad. I've heard so many over the last 40 years who admitted they knew it was a terrible idea but they did it anyway and had to pay the price. I raised my sons to be polite gentlemen and luckily they found two level-headed women and are having wonderful lives.
