I am a great fan of Alabama since 1980 when I first heard them thanks to a friend of mine who converted me back to country thanks to these guys who played right down the road from us in Myrtle Beach! They are fantastic musicians and I have personally never heard a song by them I didn't like. From Old Flame to the very latest, I have at one time or another had every single they ever produced and albums galore. They are so much a part of my life, my love, my history. They remind of of love lost, good times in the country with my friends at the river or at a concert. I have fallen in love and will always attach them to some lady along the way, good and bad times. I dedicate this to the one lady I let get away and will always care for. Our songs were mostly Alabama songs like "Touch me when we're dancing" or "she's got the touch" and boy did she! I'll never forget her. One of her daughters even told her once that i looked like "that guy from Alabama" back in my younger days when I had the Randy (my favorite) thing going on, long hair and beard. Funny how life changes.........Roll on Alabama and to the lady who got away, "God must have spent a little more time on you!"
