Me and my family happen to own 3 of his descendants. One's the only Appaloosa stallion left of his line. Another is only 5 weeks, but it looks like we might, just might be able to register as Thoroughbred, and race her, after all, she can already out run her mother, and her mother was very successful at racing herself. <3 this song

This horse amazing and i thank you Disney for showng me this. I hate racing but this horse is just different!! He went he was not pushed into running he just ran as fast as he could. In the film you could see how happy that horse was to be at the front! His ears went right up and he just went faster! I do wish they could have involved the groom more.

What bothers me about this movie is there is no mention of the great Riva Ridge. Riva saved the farm not Secretariat by winning the first two legs of the triple crown and Penny always said she loved Big Red by Riva was her favorite.

I am a horse owner and i have dreamed ever since i was three to become a jockey and win a race. For so long, the story of Secretariat has told me that nothing is impossible. Of coarse, the horse im lanning on riding and winning with isn't a quarter as fast as what Secrarariat was, but, because of the impossible story of Secratariat, i beleieve i can race and win. :)

oh God. everytime i watch a movie that involves a horse and the will to never give up i always get the same feeling. my heart races, my eyes get big and watery, my stomach flips, and i'm always out of my seat, hands in the air, cheering them on. even if they can't hear me =) im sure they appreciate it either way.

This Song really fits the movie... Im a guy and i have to admit. It almosts makes me tear up :) Real men cry right?

@captinrapter Wow, Incredible.. I Have horses Too.. I started riding at 4 Years old, My mom Was terified cus i was on my First horse.. by 7 Years old, i learned to Run on a horse.. Then by 10 i masterd it.. Now im 13 And it Feels like im Flying , I love Running in the Open fields with the Sun and the Wind, it's amazing.. I love horses, I have 5 For each 1 in my Family, And a beautifull Barn.. Huge :D,

@captinrapter That is 100% true. My father worked on a Thoroughbred horse racing farm while I was a boy. I got bed time stories of race horses instead of knights and such. I just loved this movie and Diane Lane did a wonderful job of playing Penny.

Zenyatta has been the closest thing to Secretariat that the racing world has seen. She has his charisma ,beauty and dramatic come from behind style that made him great!

Secretariat was an amazing horse, and he achieved the impossible. Ayone who doesn't see how amazing horses can be, has obviously never been near one, never mind ridden one. Riding a horse is the best feeling in the world. :)

This horse is incredible. I'm so glad they made a movie about him. Horses and people like this, who believe in impossible things, they are impossible. It's hard to find people who believe in the unbelieveable, but when you see it, you believe it. It's just incredible, just seeing this movie, just seeing the trailer, I can already feel my heart running. I've always wanted to see a horse like this, and now, even in a movie, I get to <3

I would do ANYTHING to have been able to meet Secretariat

I am a Horse owner and I have been riding horses since I was literally 6 months old...at least sitting on one ;) and my mother has actually owned a horse (racehorse/thoroughbred) named Speedy K who is related to Secretariat and litereally how they say he has a big heart in the movie IS true...when he died of laminitus they did a biopsey on him and found out his heart was 3 times bigger than a normal thoroughbreds heart and that is how he could run...:)
