What a voice!

These guys are in their 70's and still sound this incredible! I've seen /met 'em twice and they're just the best guys and put on THE best show. My only gripe with this clip is those idiots clapping their hands - this is NOT a 'hand clapping' song, it's a beautiful ballad.

These songs are just bloody dreadful and I play them to punish my teenager when her friends are over.

I don't know this song as well as a lot of their other ones. Great song with all the Air Supply trademarks however and as usual quite good heartfelt lyrics.

Wonderful live performance of this song - quite rare to see - my all time favourite song of theirs. I am often looking for Air Supply on youtube and with all my searches at different times, I have never come across this clip before now - yet came up first search tonight. Strange. Anyway, glad to have found it now - is there any information as to program or date for this performance ?

This was Australia's Countdown, and aired in December 1976. This performance was Air Supply's big break in Australia. Before this they had done no TV work, and had good radio play only in Adelaide. After Countdown, Air Supply got airplay in all Australian states.

Not a live version (lip synced) but a great song though 👍

I believe this was live vocals, with some backing tracks. Some of Countdown was lip synched over the years, but the producers wanted as much live vocals as possible. Russell is live on this.
