Each time I listen to this song, my eyes fill with tears and all I can do is cry. I can not explain. The lyrics are so beautiful, it touches the bottom of my soul. It's a masterpiece.

the meaning of this song is so deep.
it's telling us the story of a mother who died when her child still a baby and she doesn't get the chance to see the child grow up. the mother tell the baby that she always be the compass in the sky for the baby

Why the Bionic Deluxe album that I purchased, don't have this masterpiece of art? This stuff is amazing, cheerful!

BIONIC is an underrated masterpiece album....love her work with Sia, MIA, Diplo, Switch, Ladytron, Le Tigre, Tricky Stewart and as ever Linda Perry <3....so underrated and should have been handled much better ...such a shame! every bit as masterful as Stripped and Back To Basics...a cartoonish, soulful, crazy, experimental, cool album....Lotus on the other hand...not so much....would love a return of this XTINA! <3

I can never understand why some so-called fans of Christina come on here lamenting that they can't believe Bionic flopped. In my opinion artistically Bionic was a success...a creative masterpiece unlike anything I've ever heard. Bionic was a statistical flop simply because Christina's fan neglected to purchase the album. You want to save Bionic? Go out and purchase the album...its that simple.

I think that " Bionic " was a very brave move on behalf of Xtina. The sound of the album is very futuristic and it couldnt appeal to all the people ! However , the album boasts some of xtina's greatest work including YOU LOST ME and LIFT ME UP. I enjoy this album every now and then ! It also has some good workout songs like Bionic , Not Myself Tonight and Desnudate !  

The album was well beyond its years.

bionic is one of my favourite albums of all time. it was the first album by christina I bought and I still love it to this day. should of been a huge hit, critically and commercially

Bionic is really one of the best albums of all times! It has it all just like Stripped! You have dance songs and touching ballads and amazing electronic sound. In one word: MASTERPIECE.

I want a re-release of this album. Most people don't know this but, a lot of the songs Christina originally envisioned were cut out, and only a few remained, like Little dreamer, Birds of prey, and Elastic love.

As far as I last heard, Bionic was not even certified Gold in the U.S, which is a shame because, as Mrtrimzim said, "It[s] pure gold!" The Deluxe Edition tracks and Itunes Edition track should've been on the standard edition for sake of quality (they're better than a few tracks on the standard), theme, and organization. I hope the record company keeps their hands off of Lotus. Let the talent create the product.

Who do RCA execs think they are, telling Christina what will sell? She's had a successful career that has spanned over a decade, while reinventing herself on each CD and coming full circle in a more mature way, as she has said, with the upcoming release of Lotus. You would think that they would have enough common sense to let the talent that is the reason they have jobs choose her own track-listing for the main release.

All the tracks on the standard edition are good, in my opinion. However, when you take away key tracks from the standard edition such as Little Dreamer, Monday Morning, and Birds of Prey, its easy for people to ask, "Why is this CD called 'Bionic'?" It makes no sense to have songs that are so key to the theme included only on the Deluxe Edition, with Little Dreamer only ending up on the ITunes edition.

Yes, music is about sales. If it doesn't sell you most likely will not hear that singer again. There is a lot of music out there that has meaning and substance to it but doesn't go nowhere because the singer does not sell. Its nice to have all those things but in the end if it doesn't sell it doesn't mean well.
