I'm not mad at Alissa for leaving for Arch Enemy, I think she fits them well.  That said, I think The Agonist actually benefitted by her departure because Vicky can certainly fill Alissa's shoes there.  I think there are awesome qualities of both vocalists, but I lean towards Vicky in The Agonist.

This is really one of my favorite albums ever

Vicky is fucking hardcore. And she is gorgeous. And she has incredible talent. Honestly, I prefer her vocals, over Alyssa's, any day.

Its funny but i think there is a pattern in band members leaving ... ok first i hear arch enemy with Angela.. then i get Alissa in arch enemy and i didnt liked it.. now i learned Angela chose Alissa herself.. that helped me accept.. but then i was curious and went to check the Agonist with first singer Alissa... and i see them play with Alissa... wich was really unique and awesome.. but then i click another video of the Agonist and their new vocalist is Vicky... and i kinda got the feeling i missed Alissa.. wtf is wrong with us..are we so not able to accept changes in bands.. and i was like wow .. shes good but shes not Alissa.. and i only listened to a couple songs with Alissa... so where is the problem i dont know.. i think change takes time to get used to it.. and i will need to hear more and more and keep listening to it.. just so i get that *habit feeling again * once again all singers are unique and awesome... so i think we are the problem really anyways enjoy the great music and encourage them instead of dissliking . peace

I personally feel like the agonist with alissa, and the agonist with Vicky are two completely different bands. when alissa was on vocals they were very technical, but with Vicky they have gone a different direction and they sound very melodic, and almost symphonic. so I don't think it's fair to even try to compare the two.

Wow, Vicky is not bad at all! Alissa is great and spot on with growls with the previous albums but looking past it, I do like Vicky a lot as a vocalist over time she'll improve. Vicky won me a fan will be going to an Agonist show in the future.

I don't know why it still surprises me that people bring up Alissa EVERY SINGLE video from the Agonist as a battle between her and Vicky. Vicky's doing a great job, no need to linger about Alissa not being in the band anymore for the last 4 years.

vicky voice is easy to make me boring, she dont have melody and her scream and growl very harsh so i miss alissa

As shitty as the way the transition was done with the singers,I find its for the best for either Arch Enemy or the Agonist. Although there was no need for a change in Vocalists to begin with in Arch Enemy, I find it was more than welcomed when I heard the result. The Agonist was good but seems to flow better now.

Not as good as alissa. Loved EoP but the latest album is a huge letdown....really hope The agonist goes back to their amazing unique metalcore sound in the next album.

After reading the e-mail by Alissa I change my mind about The Agonist band members they where fully in the right. Alissa forfeited all rights to the band when she signed with another band. Alissa was completely in the wrong weather she believes it or not. When Alissa signed to sing as the lead singer to another band she created a conflict of interest being the lead singer for The Agonist. Now if she really wanted to be honest and upfront she should of got approval by all The Agonist Band members before signing a contract with another band. Coming to them after the fact was just throwing mud in there faces. If it was me it would of been over at Walmart Parking Lot.

Me to, i used to like Alissa in Arch Enemy now i don't i just prefer Angela.

I actually think Vicky is better, She's a great performer and I like her gritty vocals compared to Alissa's. She's also really nice, unlike Alissa who is known to be quite pretentious.

Alissa can sometimes come across a bit full of herself, but I guess I can't judge until I meet her 😁

Alyssa is great. She's just a typical angry vegan. That's all.
