fuck that pseudo rap style , i hate it , why they wear like that? is awfull , hardcore back in the days was a mix between punk , oi and metal but nowadays the disgusting rap influence it's everywhere fuck rap and gansta style

So style is is equal to attitude? What matters is the mental attitude and not how someone dresses up

well u still without understand what i said , back in the days the hardcore scene brought together people from diferent subcultures: metalheads , punks and skinheads cos at that time the music was the important , nowadays they copy the gangs style and attitude they got a criminal picture/image so they are are who give more importance to the style and this wrong becouse the new generations of hc kids they beliebe that be harcore means be a gangsta/criminal or something like that , nowadays is all about look a bad guy

I don't belive that somone of the HxC newbreed thinks that hardcore has something to do with crime (at least I know nobody and never heard of someone like that)... And I think you don't see how you kill your own arguments. HC was brought together by different subcultures in the 80s. But if other subcultures get involved like in the middle of the 00s the Hip Hop culture (what ideals and ideas are similar to the Hardcore if you look deeper under the surface) it's something bad. This sir, is what I call ignorant and THIS has nothing to do with hardcore

Cultures evolve.... Hardcore isn't the same like in the 80s . The music style changed several times, the bands changed and also the clothes changed. This is how evolution works. If you think about it, when Hardcore was invented in the middle of the 70s everyone was dressed up like a cliche Punk, in the 80s they almost got their hair completely short, in the 90s they all got tattoos, in the early 00s the Rap influences hitted.... It's always a short overkill of this influence and then it starts to fit in with the older influences

Middle aged men still bitching and moaning about the rigors of life and trying to act tough. As a kid I thought Agnostic Front and many other NYHC bands and all the hangers-on made so much sense and empathized with their feelings. Looking back I realized the majority of them were middle class kids (and in many cases fully grown adults) who instead of taking advantage of the opportunities they were provided by society and parents, instead chose to write graffiti, commit crimes, assault people, skip work and school, and above all, compulsively listen to music and bitch about the problems to which they themselves added. Roger and company bitched about welfare mongers and moochers in their earlier albums when meanwhile many of their close friends and jock grabbers were full bums and criminals.

+Scott Perez WTF are you talking about? Roger was a Cuban refugee, Vinnie was a squatter. They fucking work hard, Vinnie also co-owning a tattoo parlor, while Roger works on Harleys on the side. If they ever stop making music, they will be working straight jobs their whole lives, no retirement plans. Both have other musical projects besides this band. They tour and record relentlessly under humble conditions. How can you say they are "takers" when they've been DIY since they were fucking young kids? They busted their asses a lot more then the typical "mom and dad paid for me to go to college and figure out what I'm doing with my life". Instead they decided what they wanted to do with their lives at a young age and worked hard as fuck at it. As for being "tough", it's a style of music, an honest one, which they contributed to developing. Offstage, they couldn't be more regular dudes.

I remember when Agnostic Front Came to my town on the Victim in Pain Remastered tour.
I yelled the words this song as loud as I could, That night is a Staple in my life. I have never felt a bigger sense of belonging in my life.

When you're an angry ass kid and you go to what you thought was a "punk" show but the band you see calls themselves Sick of it All and covers a song called "Betray" by a band you love called Minor Threat and the singer puts the mic in your face to sing along = Life forever changed = Hardcore. No way else to explain it.

this is quite a good band. but i can't agree with the lyrics. peace is the best way of living. We have to try to live peaceful,even if nobody in this world is peaceful anymore.Punks have to unite and fight for peace.we don't need guns. we need revolution.
