This sounds a lot like Synthesthesia from the same band.

They should create a whole album that sounds like this but with there newer sound mixed in as well, and add this song as an opening to the album or closing!!!

I paid 100 bucks on eBay back in the day to get this song. Worth every fuckin penny. Can't believe they thought this wasn't good enough to be on STS. Love that it's a hidden gem though.

shut your mouth and open your eyes until sing the sorrow was the absolute peak of afi's power imo, black sails in the sunset will always be my favorite afi album, such a perfect album!  great song, i liked burials but i did think it was probably afi's weakest album so far, not enough good melodies....

@SullySadface we must agree to disagree, decemberunderground was much better than burials in my humble opinion!  there were some really good hardcore afi songs on there like affliction and kill caustic then good slower songs like the missing frame and summer shudder and miss murder was a great song even though it got played into the ground on the radio.....i liked decemberunderground a lot, but it was not as good as the albums before it...

Black Sails is the fuckin shit. I've probably bought a dozen copies cause I'm always giving it away to friends so they're obligated to check it out haha

I abso love this song, as much now as a decade ago. To clear confussion, its track 13 on UK Sing the Sorroq followed by Now the World. Do you have Now the World on US album? If not, listen to it, its another fav. Those two songs and celluloid dream are the songs i love most on that album xx

The guitar work in this song is so fast. it's like rockabilly meets punk shit, mixed with jades epic harmonic work. Bitchin tune.
