Aerosmith - Toys In The Attic Lyrics
in the attic
lights
voices scream
nothin' seen
real's the dream
leaving the things that you love from mind
all of the things that you learned from fears
nothin' is left for the years
[repeat chorus]
toys, toys, toys
in the attic

Aerosmith Toys In The Attic Comments
Remember listening to this on 8 track tape in my uncle's hot rod 1968 Pontiac catalina station wagon burning rubber
Always loved Aerosmith. In high school we rode around drinking Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill wine and T J Swann’s Easy Nights and Mellow Days, and yes smoked some weed listening to Aerosmith. Good times!
Came out the same time as 'The Dictators Go Girl Crazy'! Brad Whitford and Steve Hunter are nowhere close to Ross the Boss!
The only Aerosmith album I like.
America’s Stones.
When I first heard this it was on a record. ..
The most underrated 'Smith tune ever !!! Love it, it's a ripper !
Daddy, I´m scared of my toys.
Steven: Oh, that´s a cool name for a song!
Dad!!!
I always wondered what would happen if Aerosmith had a similar producer to ACDC, loud drums and guitar. Toys In the Attic would sound a lot heavier overall and Rocks, man o man.
Yup that's true. I agree man.
They sound like the Ramones
I was 12. I bought 11 records from Columbia Records out of the TV guide for 1 cent. Never heard of these guys. I used to put them on the record player my brother left behind when he joined the Army. I would play them at night in bed. Never much of a sleeper I feel in love with this album. Long live Aerosmith.
Back in the early 80's we used to race vehicles on narrow winding dirt roads at night with no headlights on. I had a 77 Chevy Impala big block V8 with a 4 barrel... and this song blasting from the 8 track deck when we had our little "Moonlight Drives". Those were the days of busted knuckles and broken hearts.
Saw them in concert at the spectrum in 1973
2 adds ...way too much !
Toys In The Attic" is an old expression that means "Going Crazy." The song is about a guy losing his mind.
This was the shit when I when 16...
This is for You Brian.... RIP
This reminds me of this Youtube sight 'Life with Brock' about this dude who collects action figures and reviews them. Amazing artwork by him. But it's not as good a show as mine 'Brock, Brock, Brock and spam.'
GARY!!! Joe is in the Movies again!!!!!
Those were great times. Rock and Roll was real. And the drugs were devastatingly good. If you lived on the east coast you might remember Aemoeba.
In my buddies car and didn't think much of it at the time..... Those were the days !!!!!
See You Later Mr.Willson.
This was back when bands actually played hard rock music before the majority turned to playing fluffy pillow marshmallow sissy shit!
Interesting fact I just learned aboiut this song. It is 220 of top 500 rock n roll songs of all time in the rock n roll hall of fame. THat is Y I am listening. GOd/Jesus bless and save all that read this.
This is medicinal (lowers stress).

This is weird. They were awesome in the 1970’s when I was a kid. Today they’re still great. Hard to do.

I thought Get Your Wings was their best. But both albums are embedded in my 61 year old brain. I was 16 when this album came out. Wow, where did the time go. I still love the music. It sounds better now!!!!

65 people dont know how to cut their own pancakes. (number is subject to change)
Genghis Khan Lmao....you rule.
Best song (.. in my opinion!) that Aerosmith ever did! Hands down! And, nobody EVER plays it! Why? Love this one. Short n sweet!
I miss my toys.
There's Aerosmith sober.. Then there's Aerosmith DIRTY..
The first time that I heard this song was in 1976 at camp Lejeune NC getting shit faced as a young jarhead, drunk off my ass.
Sorry of the "high time" type. Oh yeah!!
Thanx for the post yet I can assure if you weren't around to experience this when it was first pushed out to us. SORRY!!! cause it would have made memories for you.
This song never fails to blow my mind - and I've heard it 1000's of times...
Possibly THE best hard rock song/performance ever.
Aerosmith's early stuff can never and cannot be duplicated, 70s Aerosmith was definately the best....

why does this video has almost 2 minutes of nothing after the song? just cut off the last two minutes cause its not even 5 minutes long, only three...
My 4 year-old daughter shook her head and said, "Too violent, Daddy." lol
Tom Hamiltons' bass in this song .. amazing!
..... doesn't get the mention that he so richly deserves,.... damn fine bassist, yes sir!!!
FUNFACT: Steven Tyler was so high that he couldn't remember that he recorded this song. He said "Hey, That's great! We should cover this, Who is it?" and Joe Perry responed, " It's us, fuckhead."
Even if that's bullshit. It's true now.
😂🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahahaha !!!! Steve always had "toys in the attic" :):)
Aha,ha,ha..damn,he must have been high as hell!!
@Robert Cubinelli ihe would rather have toys in the attic then skeletons in the closet:)
