Aerosmith - Rattlesnake Shake Lyrics

We thankyou kindly
Right now we'd like to do a song
Ain't necessarily our own, but it could very well be
It's a song about self abuse
It's called...Rattlesnake Shake

Well, if you wanna rock
I got to be your rockin' horse
And if you wanna roll
Lord, I could blow you right out the door
Yes I could
We'll shake the world
When it's time to crash
But when I get home tonight
Lord, I guess I got to shake myself
A looky here

You need some lovin'
You must have the blues
You fought your mind baby
Hey that's a good thing to do
Now do the shake
The Rattlesnake Shake
Now do the, do the shake
Yes, chuck away them blues...chuck your blues

Yeah...you need some lovin'
You must have blues
You fought with your mind, baby
That's a good thing thing......to do
Do the shake
Oh...The Rattlesnake Shake...oh
Now...do the shake
Yeah...Chuck away...

Steven’s singing in these early recordings is just something else. This just shows how good of a singer he was. Holy shit I get chills what a fucking voice while the boys jam like there’s no fucking tomorrow. Aerosmith is the best.

The song is so true Love the lyrics to this.

Now this takes me back. Aerosmith was my first concert on 12 31 89. I bought Pandoras box on cassette in 1991 and played it everyday

  7. A.... ....

I am having one of those semi drunken nights where I revisit things I have not heard in a while.
    This is REALLY fucking cool.

Not their best work. They did the AMAZING cover of Come Together, yet this is pretty terrible. Fleetwood Mac definitely did this better..... they had the better guitarists anyway.

Andrew Vetter this version is pretty good to me man

    A.... V....

    Aerosmith made it their own

    A.... V....

Steven’s voice DESTROYS Fleetwood Mac. Aerosmith were still new and they jammed like there was no tomorrow

    A.... V....

Are you kidding... the original Fleetwood Mac version is garbage.

The little jam sounds like LA Woman by the Doors

The thing I've never understood about this entire album called "Pandora's Box" is that the song previously performed before this awesome live peice, for a radio broadcast at Counterpart Studios, was the raw and originally written version of Pandora's Box in-which I believe was their first time performing Pandora's Box for a live audience before Get Your Wings was even released. What baffles me most about it all is that you'd figure they would've included this version of Pandora's Box in this 3 disc set which was certainly possible considering this song was from that same radio broadcast that made it onto the disc set. You really gotta think what's going through the minds of these studio crews when they're selecting songs for bootlegged/compilation albums because I would've loved having the mastered version of that track as well as this one both included in the Pandora's Box Set.

4:40, the Rats in the Cellar jam was all ready written!

    L.... v....

this is a greatest hits collection you understand.  They all predate its release, but some are rarer recordings.  This is a cover of an old Fleetwood Mac jam.  They played it before they popped. back in the daze n all that.

    L.... v....

This song is what developed there early jam sound.
    Rats appears on several songs.
As well as Waiting for Madge, Searching for Madge.

yeh the days of a smokey bar brings a godamn tear to my eye. peter greens version is great but Asmith adds the dirt and sweet emotion to the tune
