Aerosmith - Nobody's Fault Lyrics
Lord I must be dreamin'
What else could this be
Everybody's screamin'
Running' for the sea
Birds take to the sky
The prophets are all stinking drunk
I know the reason why
Eyes are full of desire
Mind is so ill at ease
Everything is on fire
Shit piled up to the knees
Out of rhyme or reason
Everyone's to blame
Don't be lame
Sorry, you're so sorry
Don't be sorry
Man has known
And now he's blown it
Upside down and hell's the only sound
We did an awful job
And now they say it's nobody's fault
Old St. Andres
Seven years ago
Shove it up their richters
Red lines stop and go
Noblemen of courage
Listen with their ears
Spoke but how discouragin'
When no one really hears
One of these day's you'll be sorry
Too many houses on the stilt
Three million years or just a story
Four on the floor up to the hilt
Out of rhyme or reason
Everyone's to blame
Children of the season
Don't be lame
Sorry, we're so sorry
Don't be sorry
Man has known
And now he's blown it
Upside down and hell's the only sound
We did an awful job
And now we're just a little too late
Eyes are full of desire
Mind is so ill at ease
Everything is on fire
Shit piled up in debris
California showtime
Five o'clock's the news
Everybody's concubine
Was prone to take a snooze
Sorry, we're so sorry
Don't be sorry
Man has known
And now he's blown it
Upside down and hell's the only sound
We did an aweful job
And now we're just a little too late

Aerosmith Nobody's Fault Comments
Heavy as fuck!!
I recognized the lyrics & was like wtf?!
Tyler never ceases...
WITHOUT A DOUBT...Aerosmith's most excellently recorded song...they will never again match the height they were when they recorded this gem. TURN IT UP!
My favourite Aerosmith song by miles.
This song Kicks Ass! It is so solid. It was surrounded by serious contenders on the Album, too. Back when we listened to Albums full length, over and over and over until u know every song by heart - in order - or something feels wrong. What comes before sets up the next and the next until they all are associated together in rank!
Well, anyway that's the way it happened for this album - that I have on vinyl - and I went through a cassette Tape and have it on CD and iTunes.
Back then in southern Missouri you never heard this on the radio,. These groups got around without broad mass exposure. I thought of it as an underground system that I liked but it all grew up and now i do hear this on the radio - 45 years later.
Rocks is one of the great albums of my time.
This song hits a real tight grove and doesn't let go - with precision mayhem, and every piece of the puzzle tuned powerfully - perfect. - It is an anchor on the album - Nobody's Fault holds its rank among the other awesome greats on this album! I Love it.
Remembering my foggy high school years brings me here.
One of Joey Kramers greatest performances.
Never heard Aerosmith like this. It's much closer to the style of Led Zeppelin. I like this better.
Some of the heaviest shit ever produced.
this and "Sick As A Dog" are way my faves. Oh, wait... i forgot "Lick And A Promise" too. Sorry, forgot "Last Child" and "Rats in the Cellar"... excuse me, i give up... whole fucking album is perfect.
Best Rocks' song, best Joey Kramer performance, great Brad Whitford solo...
It's a heavy metal classic. Can I hate this song?
Yeeeeeaaahh
great track....shared to the Netshows Radio "Program 179" Playlist on youtube
Why do I get the feeling that Jerry Cantrell has listened to this song about a billion times?
I believe them bones are me 😎
@HinjuRock indeed that was the first song that popped into my head! The other one was 'Lying Season', which is a little obscure like this track, but is a gem.
@trident 731
Which album is that on? I have all three of their studio albums plus Jar Of Flies, and I've never heard of that song.
@HinjuRock it was an early track that appeared in the Music Box boxed set. It's a great groove that you can clearly hear them figuring out their own sound, and laid the foundation for the album FACELIFT. I'm sure that you can find it on YouTube.
@trident 731
Thanks - I'll check it out.
this kinda bridges the gap between sabbath and zeppelin, no?
definitely screams AEROSMITH
Ladies and Gentlemen, Brad Whitford.
I was 2 miles away from the epicenter of the Northridge Earthquake in 1994. Imagine a giant hand picking up your house at 4am and moving it from side to side as cracks form in the walls of your bedroom and open up from floor to ceiling right in front of your eyes ! It was a 6.7 on the Richter scale. Still have nightmares about that night even now and think about it every time I listen to the most rocking Aerosmith song of them all.

This song is probably the most "metal" Aerosmith ever got.
That's why Testament covered it.
Kurt Cobain's favorite Aerosmith song.
mine too
The beginning reminds me of the opening to my favorite Audioslave song, "I am the Highway."
I'm guessing there wouldn't have been an album called Night Songs by Cinderella if it weren't for this song.
Play this at 1.25x
Perfection!
A masterpiece!!!
Mr perry mean
some of the slickest sounds you will ever hear..
Came here from tylers book, page 174 pg 1
Simplesmente a melhor banda do mundo ❤️🤟
I've heard all their songs how did I miss that
I heard this song through Testament I didn't realize Aerosmith they did this awesome I can hear it how the hell that happened
Completely off the chain! By far my favorite song of theirs...
This is when Aerosmith really rocked..before the gay ballads
EVERY BODY,S SCREAMIN
Also didn't Brad Whitford claim this was his all time favorite Aerosmith song?
This is IMO Aerosmith's best song they've ever done, Aerosmith was definitely at the top of their peak when they recorded this song.
This song rocks! Love it!
Edmonton Flame...you BET

What a summer 1976 I was 15 and free to enjoy it and I did
Steve Hunter
Rocks is their masterpiece
*Get Your Wings
This was so ahead of it's time.
Seriously—-
Is there a more pelvic-forward song than this one?
The lead guitar is one of the most gutturally-realistical representations of when heavy guitar rock was king
My personal favorite Aerosmith LP. It lives up to the name it rocks.
The cream rises to the top
A song about the Environment in a rock setting when it wasn’t hip to be environmentally minded
their most rockin song
This is probably the heaviest Aerosmith song. It puts Sweet Emotion to shame.
Thanks. This song rocks!
Thanks.
Love you Joe Perry
One of the best songs by them.
Could only hope they would continue in this direction when I heard this tune. This has always been my favorite Aerosmith since the first time I heard it
Toys was the 1st aerosmith lp i bought, then i went back and bought the 1st two lps and was totally hooked. Bought rocks the day it came out and was not let down. This is aerosmith at their prime...this what made them americas # 1 rockband.
2nd best...cheap trick, 3rd...the ramones...this in only my opinion...and fuck the eagles...to quote dennis leary, "i got 2 words for the eagles...joe walsh".
Lastly... the entire rocks lp burns from start to finish just like the 3 that preceded it, but nobodys fault is the standout track. <\M/>
pre-eagles joe walsh aint bad. that james gang rides again album has some very heavy moments, like funk 49 and the bomber
To read Frankenstein!
Behoves you.
Well covered by TestAmenT and it's signed a great song..
This song is so damn good.

This song is not only awesome, it's true. He's telling you to repent and ask Jesus to be your savior before it's too late. We don't want to think about it, but anything can happen in a blink of a eye and it will be too late or maybe you want to go to the pit. It doesn't mean you have to be a holy roller. Read the lyrics, he meant every word, not only cool but true. I don't go to government church where they lie for your money.
(((Sorry, you're so sorry
Don't be sorry
Man has known and now he's blown it
Upside down and hell's the only sound, we did an awful job
And now they say it's nobody's fault)))
Sorry doesn't cut it people, you need to repent. We see something and want it and that's fine as long as you understand everything we desire is only humor and a optical illusion besides God Almighty the Holy Creator and Jesus our Savior and as long as you admit you were wrong and mean it, you're in. If you have problems understanding the Bible, that's because it was written in another language and they placed words differently, but the main reason is the evil on earth has slowly and incrementally changed our language, dumbed us down. I suggest downloading e-sword FREE and select KJV+ top left and that will include Strong's Concordance. For every word in the Bible there's a number even if it's the same word, sometimes the same words have many reasons and this explains everything in detail. https://www.e-sword.net/
Revelation 13:18 King James Version (KJV) 18
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

MrBrymstond not to rain on your Jesus parade (and I love Jesus too) but the song is about Earthquakes.
The Church brought me here cocksuckas!
*Of what's happening now.
Uncle Joey sent you here, didn't he cocksuckah!
DAMN IT! I love the 70's!
A lot of Led Zeppelin influences
Had the sorry part stuckin my head all night
When Steppenwolf said heavy metal thunder they meant the sound of bikes. NOT MUSIC. If there's such a thing called heavy metal music can someone please give me an example of it? Everything I've heard of as heavy metal is no where near it.
south side of the sky by yes
I prefer Whitford's solos to Perry's solos...
My favourite Aerosmith song
Rocks is the best rock and roll album of the 70s.
Toys and rocks are epic in their greatness.
I wish Aerosmith would reissue this album in a deluxe edition with outtakes extra materials dvd of 76 tour etc
One awesome album.
Never goes out of style
This band and especially this song were way ahead of their time.
Yeah boyeeeeeeee!
AEROSMITH ROCKS ON THIS TUNE. SOUNDS AWESOME. ONE OF THESE DAYS, YOUR GOING TO BE SORRY. SOUNDS LIKE THE END TIMES. EVERYTHING'S ON FIRE. YOUR SO SORRY. AND YOUR A LITTLE TO LATE. GET ON YOUR KNEES.
And then Aerosmith gave birth to grunge. Amen.
Definitely the album that made me start learning guitar.
I have heard a few attempts to cover this song, some pretty good. But Tylers vocal will always be the difference maker. The notes he hits are amazing enough, not a lot of singers can do those but surd a few. But then with Tyler he does it so smoothly and effortlessly thats what sets him apart. Even at full tonsils out scream he has perfect pitch control and even can move it around. (Check their live Baby Please don’t go, what it takes, of course Dream on, and many more), its just amazing. And he kept that ability into old age. A freak of nature.
whos here from testament
Very Tony Iommi-ish guitar in this masterpiece.
This is their best jam in my opinion
This is their hardest rocking song? Overrated. Some stuff from Get Your Wings was 'harder' than this. It definitely sounds like the 70s
1:49, sweet Jesus, that guitar sounded mean!!
Good robbery song
Brad's favorite Aerosmith tune and their heaviest.
MY favourite Aerosmith song on my fav album

After Listening To The Testament Cover Version Of This Vaunted Aerosmith Classic, I Really Do Love This Song. Thank You Testament For Giving Me This Diamond In The Rough Badass Song.
Kurt Cobain brought me here
My favorite Aerosmith song by far! Epic!!
Love the Wah Wah guitar, such a kickass tune!!
Holy fuck this sounds like black Sabbath, this is the best Aerosmith song ever
Joe and Brad like KK and Glenn
The perfect kick ass song.
One of the greatest rock albums ever recorded, no fucking question
3:35 Hijos de su puta madreeeeee!
