"Get Your Wings", Aerosmith's best album and "Lord of the Thighs" arguably one of the best songs. This album had a certain feel to it they never quite matched again. For me, it has a spacey, big machine feel with so many mythical reference and a ton of double entendre in the lyrics. I suppose that's the magik. I often wonder how they came up with the title for this song. Maybe Tyler was reading "Lord of the Flies", and flies rhymes with thighs and that the genesis. Could be as simple as that but the result is bigger. It's pure sex of course and in this case, the male is dominant. The female power is explored in "Pandora's Box " on the flip side.

My buddy turned me on this tune........he was a guitar player......wanted me to play bass .....i was hooked ever since.
