Aerosmith - Hollywood Lyrics

All night long
Hollywood
All night long

You're saddle sore
And on the grind
Just pushed you a little bit more

Don't mind if I do
It's Hollywood
Hot damn - hands in a jam
Never say can't
'Cause you know you can
In Hollywood

Don't be mesmerized
What goes on here
Ain't no surprise
As long as you'll be cool
In Hollywood
Oh, wee set the pace
Fill your nose
Despite your face
They'll make you Babylon
In Hollywood

Now you see it
Now you don't
Someone's gonna take it away
Now you see it
Now you won't
Every dog has it's day

Oh wee I got the cools
A brand new car
And the family jewels
And they won't stop me now
In Hollywood

Oh wee boogedy shoe
Got myself a new hairdo
I'm makin it somehow
In Hollywood

Now you see it
Now you don't
Someone's gonna take it away
Now you see it
Now you won't
Every dog has it's day

All night long
Hollywood
All night long

Hollywood
In time they'll build you up
And then they'll bring you down

Hollywood
You're a dream machine
Some day they'll burn the king for sellin out
Chew you up and spit you out
Just like heaven when things are good
But there ain't no hell like
Hollywood

Would you guess
What it's all about
You may be a lady
But I'll knock you out
Wrap my knuckles upside your head
Make you take back
Every damn thing you said
You play with me
Gonna pay the price
No ghost of a chance
I'm holdin the dice
You lie about this and
lie about that
Don't wanna hear
Nothing about no more crap

Now you see it
Now you don't
Someone's gonna take it away
Now you see it
Now you won't
Every dog has it's day

All night long
Hollywood
All night long

    Sounds like"Done with Mirrors" era

  4. n.... ....

If this was from PV sessions it so should have been on the album. Better than St John, The Movie, Im Down and Simoriah whatever that is.

    n.... ....

I'm down and st John were great tracks. Especially I'm down.

  5. J.... ....

it really sounds like a Done With Mirrors/Permanent Vacation era

  6. w.... ....

The track was made in 1987. Probably from Permanent Vacation 1987 outtakes. Pump is 1989.

  7. w.... ....

Who's those guys at 1:42? Certainly not Aerosmith members although they look like them, especially Tom Hamilton. Cover band, Aeromyth, Tom Hamilton side project?

    w.... ....

It clearly says draw the line it's a Aerosmith cover band named draw the line

  8. M.... M....

  9. j.... m....

can someone send me a pic form 0:42

  10. o.... ....

I think the rough sound of the recording is what makes the song so good, like Steven's voice on the chorus sounds really cool

  11. M.... B....

@carriesking yea this is around permanent vacation/pump. you can tell by steven's voice. if you listen to a few songs from every aero-era, you can tell that his voice in this song is like it is in dude looks like a lady and love in an elevator

  12. .... ....

@telecasterhst69 it's Permanent Vacation era thing definately

  13. m.... ....

@telecasterhst69 its from the permanent vacation session. there are 3 (?) different demo version of this floating around, all aviable on the permanent vacation outtakes 3 cd box set

  14. a.... ....

1:43 the guy sitting with the guitar is my guitar instructor (he is no longer affiliated with draw the line) also i like this song

  15. a.... ....

very funky, needs to be on new album!!!

  16. d.... ....

@carriesking From the sound of Steven's voice, he sounds like he did between '78 and '82. It's definitley not aftr sobriety. How on earth did u find these songs and then the pics to put on the vids? Awesome job! Do u suppose if Steven ever did do a slo album it would contain some unreleased songs that he wrote that never made it ontothe Aero albums???

    d.... ....

Wrong this was 87 permanent vacation b side. You clearly don't know Steven Tyler at all.

  17. M.... ....

@NYtoNV i have the mp3, message my YouTube account, and leave your email address, i'd be more than happy to help you out

  18. A.... M....

i'd say it sounds like the Done With Mirrors era

  23. M.... R....

I believe this was around Permanent Vacation/Pump era, but I'm not too sure.

  24. K.... J....

Does anybody know around the A-Smith era this was recorded? If I were a betting man I would say its Night in the Ruts/Rock in a Hard Place era..but what do I know?

    K.... J....

Not much obviously. Sounds nothing like the era you said. This was a b side from permanent vacation

  25. S.... P....

    great song!!
i hope they release this in their new album!

  26. G.... ....

this is a Permanent Vacations outtake, but i know Steven gave it a try during the Get a Grip sessions as i heared a mix from those ssessions with extra vocal layer, and omg, that one was really amazing! its was still soooooo much better...
