Aerosmith - Head First Lyrics

I was dancing down the sidewalk
Just some slam dunk
That you might jive
And I wondered then
About his old girlfriend
Was she still around - still alive

It's been years
Since my gears have been turning
Since I asked her same dice dance
How the flames of my poor heart been burning
If it's hate then this must be romance

[Chorus]
Head first, baby
How the good time feelin' lingers
Oh, you can be alright
On the wrong side of the street
I'm so hungry for love
I've been lickin' off all my fingers
Oh yeah, you got to learn to
Take the bitter with the sweet

Yeah, I feel just like getting in trouble
By the hair on her chinny-chin-chin
And I love to get down on the stubble
With my teeth it will taste like your grin

[Repeat Chorus]

How did this not make it on Get a Grip? It is better than more than half the songs on the album.

So this is the song that killed music buisness

JOEY KRAMER is TITANIC on this song... Slam bang, boom... backbeat  and pocket.. pounding thru the kit... the tom work in the Ohhh-oooh-ohh parts is wicked, and Perry nails the solo.  actually one of their best songs ever. Hamiltons bass just cooks and grooves with that dirty tone..

On June 27, 1994, Geffen Records made history when it released the first major label song for exclusive digital download. The song was Aerosmith’s “Head First,” an unused cut from the Get a Grip sessions. Ten thousand CompuServe subscribers downloaded it in eight days. It is three minutes and 14 seconds long. It took 60 to 90 minutes to download. “Head First” was a trial, a marketing ploy, a flash of the future, an iceberg for a titanic industry, and 4.3 megabytes of riffs and double entendres, available as a WAV file.
