I loved someone. We wasn't in a serious relationship but we stayed 1 year together, and he told me a lot of times that he loved me back, and that I was his angel. But then I found out he was seeing someone else too and he even introduced her to his friends (which he didn't do to me). I mean, if you do not love someone back, it's okay, love must be mutual. But if you don't love someone back and say that you do, only to have the person laying on their knees for you... that is cruel. No one deserves that. First time I heard this song was after being in depression for 3 months, then I picked myself up but one month later, I relapsed and fell into another depression for almost 2 years. It still hurts, not as much as before, but it is painful,nonetheless.
I am still working on myself, learning to love and appreciate myself better. Although I have days I cry for no reason, just because I feel I've been too strong for so long and it's weighing on me. But I still wipe those tears each time and keep forging on.
