Apparently he wasn't allowed to perform this when Charles and Diana were in the audience, because it's basically saying: "Hey, baby, come and shack up with me. I'm better than him any day!"
A few years ago I saw him in concert, it was just him on stage. No band behind him. I don't remember the name of the tour, but I believe it had the word naked in the title. Anyway, between songs, people would request "Diana". He never even acknowledged the requests, just stayed with the concert plan.
The tour you're talking about was called The Bare Bones tour. He released an album of it in 2010 and a live DVD in 2013.
I'm not surprised he ignored the request, he doesn't play it anymore since Lady Diana passed away.

great tune but it's only a matter of time before Youtube deletes this. There's a reason this song can't be found anywhere unfortunately.
Other people have uploaded it years ago and no deletion. I think I'll be fine.
And it cannot be found anywhere because Adams retired the song after Diana's death in '97. I heard it was on his "Reckless" album but if you look on Spotify or Apple Music etc. the song is missing.
@Dan Finnegan This wasn't on Reckless, at least not initially, maybe CD pressings/foreign pressings later. I never even heard the song until I found the 12" in 1985.

I've had this on cassette since 1985-ish. It was a cassette single with 3 songs that my friend brought back from Winnipeg. Don't think it was available in the US eh.
