I was just thinking back to that time in the mid 90s when NIN were VERY hot and in and there was no escaping them at the bars and clubs (I was 23-27, so this was several times a week, work nights included of course). As quick as they were here, they were gone.

It's like a mix of Nine Inch Nails "Closer" and INXS "Hot Girls".

if NIN were not influenced by adam ant why in the 1990s were they covering songs he wrote in the 1970's ???

It's even a fact that antmusic was a huge influence to mister Reznor. At least, if i may believe A. Ant when he told about him, in his biography, meeting the other genius. And indeed, NIN have covered several Antsongs. The only recorded one (as far as i know) named 'Physical' and other covers mainly performed live.

This is pretty much the only song from the new album I listen to. But I love it!

NIN was not influenced by adam ant, adam at was influenced by NIN. Or at least his audio engineer or producer was. Nonetheless this song has a punkish attitude we completely lost (and that NIN tries to simulate). Refreshing!

I saw him in September in Vegas. I flew from Oregon,and had the thought that it better be worth the plane fare and hotel. I thought it would,but ya never know. That was the best spent money ever! He was antastic! I am soo glad he's back and that I finally was able to see him live!!!!
