Ace Frehley - Rip It Out Lyrics

Now I know, you been cheatin' and lyin' all the time
I didn't know you were gonna be so unkind
I've been tryin' just to find out how we went wrong
But I know that I can't trust you girl anymore

Rip it out, take my heart
You wanted it from the start
You got it now, so goodbye
So rip it out, watch me cry

It's so sad, I'm not glad to be with you today
And it's bad, 'cause I can't stop the pain day by day
If I knew how to stop you, I don't think I'd try
I think it's better if we just part and don't say goodbye

Rip it out, take my heart
You wanted it from the start
You got it now, so goodbye
So rip it out, watch me cry

I hope you suffer

Rip it out, take my heart
You wanted it from the start
You got it now, so goodbye
So rip it out, watch me cry

Rip it out, take my heart
You wanted it from the start
You got it now, so goodbye
So rip it out, watch me cry

Rip it out
Rip it out
Rip it out
Rip it out

Rip it out
Rip it out
Rip it out

  1. Kevin Callaghan

does this come in stereo mix?????

  2. Matt Willis

Bought this cd in 8th grade!

  3. ENOCH WAS RIGHT

Prime example to why the one and only SPACE ⚡ ACE'S album came out on top .
This album is definitely the best album out of the 4 solo albums of 1978 .
All Mr Frehley's 🎸 album tracks blow the other 3 kiss members albums out of the water .

Hail Paul Daniel Frehley 🎸 the one and only Space ⚡ Ace

  4. Ronnie Soulman

I never noticed this before but Ace has one eye which is higher than the other. Maybe that's why he always wears dark glasses?

  5. mike brink

Pretty damn good for a plumber and trout player.

  6. Jon Thompson

It's because of ace that I became a guitar player, I owe him much, thank you

  7. IFilmAlways

This was always my fav solo.. I guess Paul had the better vocals but I thought this was easier to rock out to!

  8. J N

His album was the best one but he ruined it by putting that dumb NY groove song on there. Stupid song.

  9. katrina simon

    Space man.

  10. Jaykob

    Solo Albums
    1. Ace Frehley
    2. Peter Criss
    3. Paul Stanley
    4. Gene Simmons
Ace Frehley had the best voice in KISS, Peter Criss had the best talent, Paul was the most craziest, and Gene Simmons is just narcissist.

  11. Kevin Fitzpatrick

KISSROCK7300 love clicking on yours. I love the flashing.

  12. Philip Holmes

When i first bought this..which was the last Kiss related purchase until 18 years later...Kiss MTV Unplugged..the Vhs tape..anyway..i put it on and heard this and said "Oh yeah..Ace!!!!!!

  20. Darin McNew

what bothers me is some dipshit made it here and gave this song a thumbs down..

  21. Shredmeister 1980

This album was way ahead of its time. Ace influenced a lot of modern day Musicians with his Music. You can hear elements of Hard Rock, Punk and a little bit of Metal on here. And this was in 1978!

  22. Benny Jones

I love Ace Frehley solo album

  23. Robin Taylor

From the cover of the album to the last song on the album that’s rock ‘n’ roll stuff man.

  24. Beat Lehmann

    Absolutly Great ACE Rocker......!!!

  25. John Burrows

    Ace was the best

  26. M. A. Frazier

Ace may have had more personal issues but has the most talent and natural gift as any of them because he' s himself, not a character, he's Ace and when he's in the zone, he's in the zone. Not all that fronting!!!

  27. 志村志村竜治

    正体は、忌野清志郎さんだったりして!ハハ‼

  28. Brian Loher

    Cant trust you girl

  29. Rickey Engle

    no way,,

  30. Ferdido Guevara

When ace in the song says"RIP IT OUT!" sounded too much like when kiss sang lick it up xd

The best album with the Kiss logo on the cover

  39. Donny Diamond

Wow It doesn't sound like a song from 1978, i'd say it sounds like 1983.

  40. Surfs Up

Imagine how jealous Gene and Paul were when Ace played this for them for the first time.

    Joseph Rivett

Well, you can bet that Gene probably tried to put a patent on it, like he does everything else.

  41. PumpkinsDontCry

I love starmans flow. All the members are legit in various ways tho.

  42. Frostien

Ace and Paul had the best solo albums

Ace is not a technically great singer but his voice is always listenable.
    Casual Streetwise Attitude personified.

  54. Paul Bordelon

This album is rock SOLID and underrated.Love ACE! Almost every song would have been a viable kiss song.

  55. David Levine

anyone else remember that the Kiss solo records on vinyl had a very distictive smell?

  56. David Levine

Shock Me always got screams at the concerts

  57. Brett Weary

Absolutely amazing Awesome singer and Musician. Is the. Great. ACE FREHLEY

  58. Candance Linzay

107 Got There Fucking Heart ❤ RIPPPPEEEDD IT OUT!!!

  60. David Carranza

Sin duda alguna el gran éxito de KISS fue gracias a Ace, ya que con sus solos de otra galaxia inovo y le dió el estilo único y característico de la banda. Mi guitar heroe por excelencia !!! 👌

  61. George Pittman

I would have loved to seen Gene, Paul and Pete's reaction the very first time they heard this song. I bet they shit their pants.

  62. Eric Cornejo

El mejor de los 4 siempre!

  63. Joey Clemenza

ace was really shackled with KISS..... had he been let loose, they would've had double the bangers they already do.

  64. T2Tiberious

God, this is a GOOD album. You know when sometimes you go back and listen to old albums you grew up with that you once loved, and you find yourself slightly embarrassed for ever liking it? You grow past it. Well, not so with Ace's solo album! Forty years later it still stands out as a signature great, fun Rock and Roll album. I can listen to it now and enjoy it as much as I did then. It stands out. Not all of Kiss is like that (try listening to Animalize or Lick it Up now and see if you don't cringe a bit)--but Ace's solo album is one of the best things to come out of that era of rock n roll.

  65. metaldaduk

Along with 'Rock n Roll Over', the best sounding Kiss related album, and thanks have to go to Eddie Kramer for making them sound raw and energetic.

  66. jecos jecos

    Best of the four

  67. AJAXKID123

I’m an old woman now. KISS was huge when I was a little girl. I didn’t like KISS. KISS was for *boys*... not girls like me. I was a Cheap Trick fan.

For a loooong time, KISS was considered an absolute joke. No one would admit to liking them. I had a couple songs I liked, but they were secret guilty pleasures. Never bothered exploring them too deeply, however.

I worked with a guy, also a kid during their glory years, who was a fanatic. I teased him about his KISS lunchbox and action figures. He told me I needed to just listen!

Then I read the whine-fest that was Paul Stanley’s book. I really needed to check some of this stuff out on YouTube so I’d know what the heck he was talking about.

Then I hit upon Ace Frehley’s solo album. Mother of God, this is the most enjoyable thing ever... and I’ve been missing out on it for 40 years.

    40 years...

Better late than never, but damn!

    tyeedwrds

Well, I didn't have the lunchbox, but my room was wall to wall (and ceiling) KISS! I'm old now as well! I learned to play because of Ace and Paul. People liked to rag on KISS, but it's because they didn't want to admit that KISS could hang with anyone and give a better show! And even your Cheap Trick, a fantastic band, paid homage to KISS. If you look around, most bands that came after KISS, used a stage show with elements fans started to expect! Many bands, too many to name everyone, were KISS fans. Lemmy of Motorhead, Dave Mustaine, Dimebag, Randy Rhodes, all of Skid Row, Garth Brooks and on and on....! Now 46 years later they still have an avid following, while bands people thought were cooler, have gone away! Alive, was the drug that hooked me! I have to play something from it every so often to get my fix! Better late to the party then never seeing the light, WELCOME ABOARD!

    AJAXKID123

    tyeedwrds

Yeah, well, I’m a lot more open minded at 48 than I was a kid, ha ha. It just took me a long time to come around to wild and wacky world of KISS... especially Ace’s solo album, which has not one bad song on it! I’m a big music junkie and will happily include this on my personal list of perfect albums.

  68. Robert Kraft

    (+)-"ANTON FIG" Yes. 😎🎸🇺🇸🏁. BOBZGT

  77. The Raven 05

all the solo albums were great but aces and pauls were the best

  78. C Man

40 Years later and this Album still Rocks Solid proves ACE was the man of the Band ...sold the most .....Legend ...........

  79. Bob Silver

    RIP IT OUT!

  80. HumanOfThePlasticAge

ACE was not the best guitarist at the time.. But he was the reason I went to see KISS. Not Mr. Perfects PAUL and GENE...But as a kid.. who knew....now I see them for what they really are....perfect money grabbers.

  81. Till Bachmann

Why the fuck is this sutch auf great track?

  82. Scott Blair

Ace and Paul had the best solo's..own them all

  83. Michael Monfils

Ace was the real "romantic" soul of the band. Gene was a predator, and Paul was a poser. Sorry, but that's the way I see it.

    Gustav Kreuter

    Michael Monfils
I agree with you, a fantastic poser, but I think Paul really cared for the band too. I think Kiss would have broken up sooner without him.

  84. Bob Silver

I bought this album in 78...it was a dream come true to hold it, own it, and play it!

    C Man

Bought the Cassette still have it .......

    ledsith

Same . If we could only go back to those great days !

    Hugh Hallinan

    Awesome!

    Beat Lehmann

Me too 1978 in Switzerland !!!

The *BEST* of the 4 solo albums.
    Ace aced it.

    Bob Silver

The album cover was so cool, I would hold it and stare at it!

  86. Dalton Brummer

Who the hell is the space man? This is the Plumber!

    Andy Wenner

He's got a pipe for you to work on...

    David Eisler

Dalton Brummer Are u sure it's not thee imposter, I thought Ace was back at his house ? 😆

    Dave S

    Look! It's rock and roll!

    Shnooks

    He's the trout player!

  87. Ann Wilkiemeyer

Yup Ace Frehley has the best solo album. I grew up with KISS band

  88. DooM DooMerson

    The best part of KISS.

  89. wesley

Play this live and call out my ex girlfriend

  90. Ricardo Cespedes

grandiosas canciones de ace frealey solo, pero como todos cuando lanzaron su disco solo, siempre fueron apoyados por los demas del grupo grandioso gene, poul , peter

  91. Pantar watches

The best solo album from kiss period

    Bob Silver

    by far!

  92. Tom Adams

Ace's record is the best, the rest suck in comparison

  93. Itamar Reyes

    There's only one spaceman!

  94. George Tsopotos

Ace's solo album is by far the best of the four solo efforts in 1978.
It could have standed as one of KISS's best 1970's albums.

  95. Daniel Hayes

My favorite of the solo albums.

  96. Jeff Gerek

Its amazing how good of an album for a guy who gene and paul said had a bad work ethic. all bullshit.

  97. Mark Zuckerberg

The reason this is the best solo album is because Ace admitted to writing songs and keeping them whereas Gene and Peter wrote songs and put them on their previous KISS album

  98. Granville Friel

Guitar tone from a 59 burst and ace

  99. Pedro soliano

fuck man tht drum roll and guitar solo <3
