Hi YouTubers everytime I hear Ace doing his solo career.I think that he would have still been in kiss and probably running the whole show. Aces got more Talent than any of them don't forget Pete Pete's also got a lot of great stuff out there too. So kiss is not dead it's only partial alive with two original band members. Great album from Ace. Let's do it all over.

Ace had the best solo album out of the four back in 78 and here it is 40 years later and he is still the best one of the group , and always will be even when people listen to this 40 years from now.

@Viyzo The Yeeter give me Sabbath, Ozzy, Scorpions, Priest, Saxon, Van Halen, Steve Vai, Dio, Deep Purple, Maiden, Old Def Leppard, Genesis, Yes, The Who, Bad Company, Queen, Badlands, and the like and I'm fine. What I've heard off this album so far has been very tame and boring.

@Michael Keudel The Who and Genesis over Ace Frehley? Ya, Van Halen and Steve Vai rock, but The Who are overrated. They never wowed me at all, certainly not in the guitar department. Generic and boring. This album kicks ass, Ace has released some damn good albums during the past decade.

@High Plains Drifter yup, Steve Hackett is a way better guitarist than Ace. So is Darryl Stuermer who replaced Steve when he left. The Who wrote more and better songs than Ace or Kiss combined. I say that as a guitar player myself, there's nothing I've ever found impressive in Aces writing or playing, he's average at best.

may have a lot of haters on this comment but here it goes ....Ace is KISS ...without his style of playing KISS wouldn't have gone nowhere ... just listening to the solo album is proof enough! im 53 i was a huge fan when i was a kid (merch,dolls etc) i tried listening to other 3 solo albums but they suck so bad i wasted my money. only. good thing is the picture of faces on cover of record to display. Aces playing has inspired a million guitar players to pick up a guitar & play . i shure was! (best hobby in the world too i must say!) kiss without ace is like a rocket without fuel . just listen to that first alive album again cranked to the speakers buzz. then turn volume down just a tiny bit!!

c'mon dude that's not cool. Rock and Roll has lost one of it's most iconic voices and you think it's OK to mock that? Paul spent a whole lot more time singing than Ace has and Paul also uses his "stage voice" when he is talking with the audience. All of that has taken it's toll on a man who is pushing 70 years old. Why is that OK to mock? Ok you don't like Paul, but you're obviously a KISS fan doesn't that mean anything to you? Imagine being in Paul's shoes, here you still have the desire to do what you love to do and have lived it for most of your life, but now you can't do it, at least not to the level you once did, I feel sorry for Paul and I wouldn't wish what he is going through on anyone.

Comparing Paul's singing to Ace's singing is ridiculous. I love Ace and I am glad he is still putting out new music and I am more pleased that he has maintained his sobriety. Ace was my favorite member of KISS, after Peter because I was a drummer first and foremost. But I have never had the desire to see Ace perform live lol. I have heard his live recordings and let's face it, he really can't sing. There is absolutely no vibrato in his voice, that's why a lot of his songs sound sort of flat. Imagine Ace not using vibrato on his guitar? Ace Frehley has a distinctive voice that's for sure but on a list of top 100 all time rock and roll singers he comes in at about 500 lol. Next to his 78 solo album I think Anomaly was his best work. This latest album is really not that good, I think he is trying to rush albums out. The lyrics in most of his songs are very weak, his guitar work is great though!
