Huh... The cover art reminds me of The Hateful Eight from Quinton Tarantino.

This is really heavy and intricate. Love the Meshuggah vibes from the first hook riff, my only thing is that the mix seems to be lacking something in the high-mid department? Also, the bass and guitars are so well blended I can't really feel the bass, it seems lost in the mix. But I love this groove, wow.

especially the groove that starts at 3:00 where they thall the fuck out. The whole song is killer tho for sure.

There has been alot of good heavy music this year. So I wouldn't beat yourself up. If you check on Fridays on here or Spotify thats when they all drop . I enjoy this mix , all 3 bands on this EP all did songs that fit the concept well. I always respected AS but wasn't a huge fan. This song just sticks in my head. Find myself coming back to it alot.

One of my favorite songs in rotation on Liquid Metal. This the new Opeth & check out the new Candiria. Some sick heavy shit out. Metal - Hardcore for life.

Something I think anyone listening too this has felt. Guys have been working hard for years. I remember getting a free demo of them back when I was playing shows. Talking early 2000's thought it was a bit noisy for my liking but I am hooked on this one. Great sound.

I have. I started listening to The Acacia Strain and Remember Never before The Acacia Strain released "The Dead Walk". My friend introduced me to both bands at the same time. I also saw both bands in concert together. I didn't like "God Save Us" though. I only liked "Women And Children Die First" from Remembering Never.

God fuckin' damn it. This is the same shit that happened with the last Acacia Strain album and the last Lamb of God album and the last two Black Dahlia Murder albums and so many other new albums. I think to myself a few months before the shit drops, "hmm *insert band* is about a due for a new album." Then every day I type the band into various search bars on the internet and nothing new pops up. I eventually get distracted or I'm away from my computer for a while, and when I come back, I find out a new song has been out for a couple of fuckin' days. -_-

They probably have a certain number of albums on the record deal & want out. So they release a album every 6 months. Happens all the time.

with TAS it's ALWAYS been 2 years between full length records, and they fucking blew it this time around haha. coma witch dropped in 2014, so 2016 was due to be a fresh set of tracks by extrapolating the past data. every 2 years, since 2002. god dammit...

yeah it was much more in line with their earlier works and brought a breath of fresh air. a lot more of a hardcore influence overall.

This comment thread is incredibly annoying. Definitely one of the better songs they've released over the last five or six years. Well-composed and the tone is on point. DL was a great writer for a long time, but the last release he was on — "Death Is the Only Moral" —was fairly stale. This is vintage Acacia. Really solid.

no way dude. DITOM is undoubtedly one of the best metal albums of all time and Coma Witch is fantastic too.

DITOM is my least favorite next to And Life Is Very Long and Wormwood. That being said, I don't think any of their albums are bad. Those three just sit in second place next to their other releases for me.
