The moment we hear that growl of a cheer from off to the side the moment Benny rabbits on about the cold and long wintry nights that they have in Sweden, my first gut reaction was that it was an expatriate, smarty-pants Brit up from Geneva (the sort of people who annoyingly get tickets for everything) making the growl, whilst holding a beer in his hand. Well, Benny and the Gang deserved it! (This was broadcast from Switzerland).

Bowie was the antithesis of Abba.  While his lyrics were occasionally complex and interesting, his ability to construct a melodic tune was pretty much nonexistent.

My educated guess is David won't be doing any more covers.

As one who has been listening to pop/rock music since the 1950s (Elvis, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Belmonts, Beach Boys, Dylan, Miracles, Four Seasons, Carole King, Supremes, Mamas and Papas, Neil Diamond, Stones, Who and my favorite Beatles to name a few) and have seen many rock concerts--a big regret is never having seen ABBA in person. Benny and Bjorn wrote great songs and brought two fabulous and beautiful female singers along to help sing them. As with you, I watch the old videos and marvel at one of the greatest groups of all time. If I could arrange it, I'd bring all four of these now senior citizens together just to express appreciation.
