This was a masterpiece for many reasons..... and who of us can't respond emotionally to "Suzy?" The guitar and percussion are also fantastic!

One of my fave Abba songs but I never knew it was Benny singing. The pretty melody with complex guitar arrangement and Moog bass is bloody awesome !

Kids can be cruel. This song reminds me of the classmates who treated me poorly, especially in junior high, and I like and dislike it for that reason. I'm thankful to say that those people grew up. The one friend I had for part of that time? See "All die ganzen Jahre" by Die Toten Hosen.

I love Benny's voice on this ABBA classic but at 2:02 suddenly my hearing goes, the world stops spinning and I don't know why.

I remember when this came out an an album cut. Never heard another ABBA song played likely by Bjorn on lead with sounds like a Rickenbacher electric 12-string. Very nice .

The men,Björn and Benny were very accomplished singers as well as song writers...its great that they can take over sometimes,the lead singing although the girls are fantastic at it..but that they too sing just add to the richness of the ABBA music experience.....this works very good with Benny...

An ingenious song, clever, and with the sexy pics of Frida and Agnetha, the video is well worth watching. This song must have been created when we had freedom of speech and none of today's politically correct nonsense. Today, 2019, this "Suzy" song wouldn't get published or posted...too bully-ish and politically incorrect. Fuck 'em all. I like the song..

Great song. But shame it's not an actual VIDEO. The title is misleading. "Widescreen HD" suggests that this is video footage of the performance. But it's not. It's a list of stills... and therefore who cares if it's widescreen etc? Thumbs DOWN for the misleading title.

If you change the title to "ABBA - Suzy Hang Around (still images only)" then I will give a thumbs up. In the meantime, please stop wasting my time when I am trying to search for a VIDEO of this song.

Masterpiece. Comes in at no. 43 on my Top 400, only pipped by genius such as "Isn't Life Strange", "Book of Saturday", "Nantucket Sleighride" and "The Vanilla Queen".

This song was unusual in that Benny Andersson sang it, and wrote most of the lyrics(he no longer wrote lyrics after this album).

I am absolutely shocked that in 45 years I had never heard it at all until last month. I love it! Wow....there is some very good ABBA material that never was given proper exposure or credit! Way to go ABBA!

When I met Benny in 2009, I told him this was one of my favorite ABBA songs. He laughed and said "No it isn't!" He told me this is the one song he wishes he could forget.

A very great touch of Clannad, the famous irish band, which ABBA celebrates here in this very awesome, impressing song. it has not the value, which it should had had.

Actually, it came out in 1974, long before Clannad. It's pretty much a homage to the Beach Boys, Benny's favourite band - listen to One Man, One Woman (featuring Benny on backing vocals in full Beach Boys-mode) and On & On & On.

Thank you for posting this Video Dallas...I wish it was being played more today...pretty much tells us about all the "Bullying" that happens now-a-days. Sad that ABBA did not write another verse to it though....maybe, telling us that Suzy ended up a better, stronger person then those that picked on her....Still a great song though.

Agreed, this is a really nice song. Whereas neither Benny nor Björn had exceptional singing voices, Björn did not seem to mind taking the occasional lead, but Benny the perfectionist (Frida's soul mate) evidently couldn't endure anything less than outstanding. This is the only ABBA song he took lead vocals in.

Benny reportedly claims he doesn't like the sound of himself singing this song, tho for the life of me I cannot understand why; he may not be Sinatra, but he certainly acquits himself well as a lead vocalist

I agree. Before I heard this song I had read that Benny did not rate himself highly as a singer so I was surprised to find that he in fact does sing this song. I was also apprehensive when I bought the Waterloo album as to what his voice on this would sound. So I had a quite a pleasant surprise when the record player got to this track and Benny started telling us that "Suzy was nine and I was ten" to find that he actually sounded pretty good.

ABBA were ahead of their time with this "anti-bullying song". Great song.

Almost can be considered an experimental track, with the droning guitars (synths?) reminiscent of older songs like The Who's "The Good's Gone" or The Kink's "See Me Friend", and Benny taking the lead vocal makes it that much more unusual. A unique and very strong underrated song.

What a shame he never tried singing again. He always looked uncomfortable singing backup in the videos. This is a very catchy tune. I always wonder what Benny would have sounded like doing One Night in Bangkok.

I used to listen to this one over and over when I was 10, my Dad owned a cassette of Waterloo.

I got goosebumps, one of ABBA's underrated songs. And yes Benny should have sung more. Beyond words!!
