I really adore the very last songs Abba did like this one as the last song on their last album and the very last song - The day before you came. For me those two songs are really amazing. It makes me wonder how upcoming stuff would sound if they were about to continue to make music in this direction. I would love to hear more of this kind.

Sometimes simple songs like this that sound so easy to sing are oh so difficult to sing well but so easy to sing so bad. When she hits the high note, she knows she has done it well. But, I don't think this is the original that was put out by them.

I listed to an interview with Frida about singing the lead vocals for this song. She said she just decided she was going to sing it the way she thought it should be sung. Good for her, it is haunting, makes me want to cry.

Every night when i go to bed i close the door but dont close it fully . Each night the door opens about 2 inches and closes again , always hear the door passing briefly over the carpet . Often wonder if it is a visitor !

Saddest song I have ever heard, almost unbearable to listen. It describes lone person remembering those beautiful rare little moments of happiness in the past, moments that are long ago gone. Very very sad song

It was criticized that Agnetha and Frida didn´t sing a song together on "The Visitors". But my impression is that this caused a very fruitful competition between the two singers: their vocal performances on their last album are absolut stunning, each of them showed new sides and aspects of her voice.

There has never been a voice quite like Anni-Frid's. It has the unique sweetness of a child combined with the sophistication of a woman. This could have been the vioice of "The Sounds" in Greek mythology who entranced passing seamen.

People considered there music was naff!! 2018 and as you know you can never put good music talent down there records ie albums sell a bucket load.. the 2 MAMMA Mia movies are breaking box office records the musical stage version has been seen by millions..just shows too tell you the state of music today!!!

You should try the Madonna version of the song Like an Angel passing through my room

I did... and that is a frightfully horrible version, simply gutless. Celtic Woman's version (Mairead Carlin) is absolutely beautiful as is Sissel Kyrkjebø's version.

Frida sings this song at lowest notes but all are in vibrato.

The first time I heard this song I burst into tears. When preceded by "Slipping Through My Fingers" it has an emotional punch you can't handle at first. It's so powerful; reflective, melancholy yet tender. It's like a final hug from someone you know you will never see again. :(

Boring. Madonna sang it better, with better producton - and why the stupid tick tock noise! Madonna sang it with real emotion as was about her mother. ABBA version is so drawn out and makes you want to go to sleep!

leev3blue - Madonna copied Frida. You have to remember that this is an ABBA original composition. The "tick tock noise" represents time passing by. This song was written by ABBA and is NOT about Madonna's mother! You must be music ignorant not to know that there is a difference between 'covering' a song and being able to create the song.

This is an abba original how you can say this boring is beyond me!! You obviously have no taste in music !!!

This was my 1st time hearing this song and it made me cry tears streaming down my cheeks... Love the subtleties in Frida's deep voice & beautiful highs at the end, & I get the sense it was written from a genuine place... <3 ABBA!! Although I wasn't born until a few years after this was released:P
