Every time I listen to this (and to the full sax version), I cannot stop asking myself why in the world they considered that such a great song was not worthy to be released... It speaks volumes about how exigent they were with themselves and the music they produced. Hat Off to ABBA! I love them today as much as I loved them 42 years ago, if not more.

This is the 'Slow Version' of 'Just Like That' recorded on 4th May 1982 during sessions for ABBA's 9th album that was never completed, the La, La, La version uses this backing track but Agnetha is singing La, La, La over the instrumental melody.

at the beginning of the song you hear the melody used in de couplets of Under Attack!

Forever. There is no hope. They used the line out of it in "Under Attack" long time ago and another line in instrumental "When the waves roll out to sea". Releasing this song  =  plagiarizing themselves. As professionals , they cant afford to take that risk.

I've never been able to pick one of their songs as my ultimate favorite. My favorite has always been the one I'm listening to at the moment. With that being said "Just Like That" is my favorite at this moment. Thanks for the post.

And they did , in a strange way , long time ago.  Half of it became the instrumental  "When the ways roll out to sea".  One line made it into "Under Attack".  Finally, they allowed 2 other groups --- "Gemini" and "Bjorn Again" to pick up the pieces.

Wow another hidden gem. Vintage Abba but different as well
