I think, while a bit demeaning, labels know marketing pretty well. This is a bit too "hi-fi" for indie kids and a bit too hard edged for the mainstream crowd. I grew up in suburbia and most of the kids back then were listening to stuff like this.

Just sayin'. Either way, it's an awesome track from a lost gem of an album.
