AAS is technically metalcore but in practicality falls heavily under the genre of "Total Bollocks". All the bands listed are in the same genre as AAS unfortunately also, however they are all really good at what they do unlike these dick-ends

Shit, I remember the days when bands took pride when people got all butthurt about the messages they sent out. That's how bands used to get famous.

Imo I found their lyrics a little... eh. I'm not a christian, so the songs would be like, "hey this is fucking boss" then all of a sudden "lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil" like, I didn't know they were christian until that bridge came in and it kind of killed the mood of the whole song. I like their new style of lyrics more (though old screams were better).

So sometimes the artists cant just play what they want to hear, they've also got to take into consideration what their fans, the ones who get them to where they are want to hear and frankly they haven't done that on this album in my opinion....

I don't know why people bash bands. If you can do better then go make a better album and get as many fans as these guys have, Not easy. This album is great, Sure it's a little different from what they usually do, But bands and there music change, It's just the way it works. If they never changed they would get boring. I know it's not very relevant but even monster bands like Metallica changed a lot. It just happens.

the point is they aritsts are playing what they want to hear. sometimes everyone have their own preferences. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. but thats what music intented to do in the first place. now we pop music is playing what the audience want to hear. that lacks orginality and takes away from the musicanship. that being said, do you know how hard is to get a record label? its very hard in the music business. so dont be hard on them because they lost members and they tried.
