Lost my grandfather Pete in 2018. That was the first time I heard this song. They played taps at his funeral. I was unable to attend due to my children. I regret it every single day. He always had him a chaw. Sure do miss that man. Thank you Aaron Watts for this song. I felt u wrote it for our family. And it is the only single thing that gives me comfort since his passing. I was in the parking lot of the funeral service for my daughter's great grandmother's Theresa. playing this song on cd. Her husband was military and passed years ago and she was buried next to him. I saw their love of god, life and each other. we need that more in our lives.
