Simply i love

Classic A-ha sound. I grew up with them in the 80's and though I liked their new sound, I thought it did not compare to their earlier sound. This totally does!

I wouldn't call it a split up, guys. A-ha has been making music since 1982, and everyone still gets along with each other. Call it a retirement; all great legends must have their end.

We should consider ourselves lucky A-ha ended with a big bang, rather than a horrible disaster.

Sorry, i didn't think to be misunderstood in my love for their music ; i think that every track in this and precedents albums are the best in the world! i heard them in roma the 8th april 1988 and was a very exciting moment! my feelings about a-ha are the same, and i think they are my heartbit, the air that i breathe, the blood that moves my body, my endless youth! a-ha the best one in the whole universe!!! love from sarah.

Do you know any other albums that have a similar cover? I am looking for a cd cover from a band that came out couple years ago, maye less than that. but i cant seem to find it, it's almost the same, only with more colour. Does anybody know????

I agree, I don't hate or even dislike Take On Me, but I do admit it's not their best song. Admit it everyone, the majority of airplay it got was partly because of it being good, but also because of the smash-hit video. Brilliant song, this, and you're right, timialpha, this album, like most after Scoundrel Days, will not recieve the attention it deserves. But we love it, and that's all that matters! It should be a No. 1... :D

My personal fave from Foot of the Mountain. The whole album is perfect and gets them back to hook laden pop tunes with cleaver lyrics. Morten's voice is ageless.

I thougt that I get many thombs down, just because i don't like Take On Me.
It doesn't matter that I adore the rest ca. 200 songs.
And I really think Riding the Crest is superb and should be a Nr 1. hit, because it's 100 times better than Take ON Me.

I also think this could be a massive hit, but unfortunately Foot of the Mountain has not the popularity it deserves.
Maybe I receive a lot of thombs down, but in my opinion Take on Me is their worst song by far and that is the only one A-ha hit played very often even nowadays.

I heard Nothing is Keeping you here will be their next single in an accelarated version, but I mean this song would be a better choice, I like it much better.
