The chorus melody is okay but I don't like the verses. I wouldn't mind the dance music so much if he at least got back to writing decent melodies, but they are few and far between. That's what happens when you are solely writing songs on the bass.

Probably should write songs for others to sing...not a bad song just doesn't suit his voice...he's not got a versatile voice so not a good fit.

It's his best song in his ENTIRE discography imo! It was the perfect mix of atmospheric production and bittersweet lyrics with a great guitar solo to boot...

The more singles Noel puts out the more obvious it becomes that Liam will not be covering any of them.

Decent song, but it was a bad idea to open with lines that are almost identical to "Stand by Me." I keep expecting to hear a remix of "Stand By Me."

You know I don't like any of his recent music but I'm not going to complain because I think experimenting is good. Also not in a position to critique a category of music I don't traditionally listen to. I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of the albums that I did enjoy. So I hope The Chief is just happy with what he's doing, that's all that matters.
