Logic - Therapy Music Lyrics

[Russ:]
Yeah

My anxiety was takin' over (Yeah)
Remove the devil and my faith gon' feel it slide like it's Amendola (Come on)
I finally made it to the field of my dreams
And I let ghost play around in my head like I'm Ray Liotta (Damn)
A Yankee owner, I got stripes in this game
Hot headed but got ice my veins, arrivin' by plane
G4 to be exact, rewards and beats and raps
Three whores before forty-three, more are bein' cracked (Facts)
That was the life that I was leadin' back before I went to therapy
And we unpacked, I wasn't really needin' that
I was needin' validation, which, I agree is whack
Mad at my therapist like, "Bitch, I agree with that" (Haha)
Here's the kicker though, my therapist is me (Facts)
Complainin' 'bout my problems, how American of me?
There's a scarcity of free thinkers (Yeah)
It's all group thoughts (Sheep)
That's what they think (Yeah)
That's not what you thought (Psst)
Before you saw the popular vote
You scared that the world'll leave you if you rockin' the boat
So you don't (Pussy)
All aboard, now you safe in here but you don't even recognize your own face in here, fuck it (Fuck it)
Independent with a major budget (Uh-huh)
You ain't mad at me, you mad your lady love it, we should change the subject (Uh-huh)
I sway the public like I'm rappin' on the radio
Long hair and lookin' like I'm supposed to be on Game of Thrones, HBO
But every time I talk, it makes the news like The Daily Show
I'm wavy so, of course you wanna cruise, I call it Katie Holmes
All my dreams are comin' true, that's somethin' I innately know
Labels feedin' artists soul diets like paleo
Meanwhile I'm feedin' myself
Had a nightmare last night that I was sleep with myself, yeah, yeah
Oh God

[Logic:]
I keep my ego in check, just me and this instrumental pumpin' through this cassette deck
Money don't represent my rank
Yeah, Logic rose from jack but even the Titanic sank
I seen cats with egos bigger than cruise ships lose it
Gain power and abuse it
Same to take my kindness for weakness and confuse it
Same type don't know I stay with a gat and know how to use it
Used to be addicted to likes by the likes of people I ain't even liked
Anxiety, readin' comments ain't have me readin' right
Trapped in the Matrix, Black Neo, back to the basics
Now everything I do is off the grid, they just can' trace it
Face it, I used to love rap, now all I love is my family, fuck the fake shit
Only engulfed in darkness, can you see the light like common sense?
But to my defense, that way of thinkin' past tense
Life's a bitch and shit can get screwed like when you campin', that's fuckin' in tents
On tour the fans screamin' the West like cravin'
You know I deal with shit that'll make the average man's chest cave in
On the scene daily, this just in, word to Hailey
I write about the world around me like a journalist
It's funny how people that don't listen to me concerned with this
It's 'cause they have to be, these motherfuckers weaker than muscle atrophy
This life feels like a simulation, man, it has to be
Walked through the world, the whole shit is just one giant catastrophe
Speak on mental health, the people laughed at me, that's why I tapped out
Retired 'cause I felt rapped out
Feel like people more connected with shit that's not what rap's about, so I mapped out
Just me and my fam, I don't give a damn
Livin' day to day, just like the normal man I am
Bringin' it back to the reason I began it from the start
Spillin' syllables at will at the open mic, after dark
Hangin' with cats that stay with the iron like they Tony Stark
We recognize when the phonies talk, why?
Real G's fly in silence like gnats, G7 raps
Retired now I'm back, I relapsed, we bringin' that heat back
Like July, that real shit, no two-ply
Bitches I've been plottin' and plannin', fuck whatever they been demandin'
I grab the cannon, and ran in the lyrical phantom, jumpin' out the plane tandem
Flow so effortless it seems like it happens at random
My greed expand bigger, I Bruce Banner 'em
I hit you with the buckshot then the Chapelle slug
Hustle music like some of my brothers still hustle drugs
I'm the unsung, did it for money, made the money, now I do it for fun
Music will forever be a part of me
I do this from the heart, from the circumflex artery
My bank account is seven digits like I won the lottery
But that don't navigate the way I shape the game like pottery
So hold up, grab the gat, reload, the Rattpack be my soldiers
Yeah, I'm older but I be wiser
Fucking around, now open your eyes up
Now these haters claim I fell from grace a couple years back
Still at the top, where I been at
Eight miles from the surface of Earth, feelin' infinite
Don't gotta get into that
Who's the illest on a track? Rewind it now and listen back
Wanna know who the best is? I give you forty-four guesses
It doesn't matter and it never did, it never does, it never will
That's why I retired, it's impossible to fulfill
Just a hamster wheel, full of cats that never sit still
On it, for real (Woo, crazy!)

Logic Therapy Music Comments
  1. David Mfula

Honestly never mind if the GOATS are giving us snooze fests, we will still have artists like logic that can still give us fire.

  2. Flyingcolors

They both killed it and this instrumental is amazing.

  3. Kevin Nevuvha

The two gentlemen are very talented
    And very underrated.
    Russ verse stra8 up fire.

  4. ProvenFPS

Damn, I can't get over how fire Russ' verse was. Like God damn. Bro was spittin'! 🔥 🔥

  5. Gadrawingz

"Flow so effortless it seems like it happens at random" 🔥🔥

  6. Ajwad Mutabagani

It’s the best I heard from logic in a very long time, it’s like he’s reconnecting with his roots. Russ is good as well

  7. JakeyBakey420BLZ

Might be the best logic song I've heard in 6 years

  8. Tyler Lee

@Dylan Jennings I honestly don’t blame you for that 💀😂 but yeah true this is about a song not a project. This song is really good and I like how it was jus straight bars no chorus or anything. It’s honestly looking good for vinyl days

  9. Dylan Jennings

@Tyler Lee completely forgot supermarket was a thing as well. No pressure was good but if we’re talking just a song and not a project I still stand by what I said

  10. Tyler Lee

@Dylan Jennings so many people just gloss over that album for some reason. Everyone always says they want old logic and he kinda gave you that with no pressure lol. But everyone only thinks about COADM and supermarket

  11. Dylan Jennings

@Tyler Lee actually forgot he did tbh

  12. Zaneev.Official

    On repeat since yesterday. 🤍
this song couldnt arrive in a more perfect time then now for me personally.
THANK YOU (for both of you)!
Blessed having my hearing and being able to listen to this song.
I trully appreciate you LOGIC for keeping it real and spreading a message thru your art.
    Peace & Love✌🏻🤍
God bless You and Your Family!

  13. Young Gatsby

I always wanted this collab in high school. Russ goes crazy and he’s one of the only ones who still invoke and portray emotion with his verses. Damn great track can’t wait for Vinyl Days‼️

  14. NarcøleptiK

Always be showing a strong message. So much love for you Logic ❤️

  15. YPN Gus

    We needed this 🔥🔥

  16. Larsen William

The duo that you didn't know you loved.

  17. Spencer Cornelia

this song is amazing. Best verse I've ever heard from Russ. Flows with the beat incredibly well

  18. MASH PRINT

Not the best but up there

  19. Michael

@ludou7 yeah i agree with logic's circle of ability and the em and renegade but em is a different level. he even had that verse recorded already when he sent it to jay and jay still couldnt out rap him.

  20. ludou7

@Michael not saying that he had to come in with the same flow or anything like that to be better, I've met logic 3x and I've loved him since YB&I , but, legitimately Russ hits some levels here that logic doesn't for me. Logic remains in his circle of ability, whilst others, like Russ or in previous years, J cole for example, progress and improve etc.
Eminem on renegade with Jay Z came in with a different flow and outclassed the life out the man, can be different and better, and on this occasion Russ put it down. Only imo , of course.

  21. KxNG JULIAN

This is the Logic that made me a fan almost 10 yrs ago. This is the vibe.

  22. Assassin V1nce

Personally I don't think this sounds like old Logic music but it's great regardless

  23. kishawn goodman

    Faaaaaaaacts

  24. Christian Santamaria

Facts spitting pain and facts on beautiful beats is his best🔥🔥

  25. Donald Darko

I like how Logic's voice doesn't sound overly polished on some of his recent tracks. Gives his flow this raw sound.

  26. Jahkare Ramkissoon

@Mista Ree I do think Logic's verse was fire. But Russ man that guy decided to make himself the king of flow for the track.

  27. OfficialKairosMusic

Nah. I like a more polished mic, took away from his verse imo.

  28. Anton Jensen

He really only uses the shure sm7b and sm58 and he often be holden them. For me it sounds like he starts on sm7b and moves to sm58. I own both mics and I am an engineer and MC. Logic the goat, plp

  29. Mista Ree

Logic spazzed on this. They both did, but something special about this Logic's verse. Flow is crazy! He vented. Respect.

  30. Sorable

Logic has been spitting. Im so excited to hear Vinyl Days. Been a fan for 11 years and i think this might be his best.

  31. 沙加緬dude

    same here

  32. Wanit baneet

    ru-clip.com/video/66yjupzBdnQ/видео.html its here finally

  33. SpursNation 47

I hope, hard to top the incredible true story

  34. Talon Alexander

@Leano Leotwane UP was basically just him copying his influences. NP tried to do some similar things as an album but he had come more into his own as an artist (though the title track of Under Pressure will forever be one of his best).

  35. Hero

Man I am so ready for Vinyl Days 👀🔥 Logic really spoke from the heart on this one man… he had to remind us why he’s the greatest. Russ did amazing too. Can’t wait for the the rest of this album

  36. Delta-Music

@M No need to try and be a gate keeper. People like the song then that's a win for him and for the people who like it. Know how to act? lmao. Dude chill, it's not that deep. People are hyped for good music, stay positive and respect others opinions if you want your respected

  37. M

Logic puts out a solid song and y’all don’t know how to act. It’s a very good song but Logic hasn’t been consistent for me to believe this next album will be better than mediocre.

  38. Delta-Music

    @phillipe ?

  39. MrWatchAndwatch

Usually not too fond of Logic or Russ, but they really did their thing on this. Great verses from both

  40. Osha

God damn now THIS sounds like a evolution in himself. You can tell this has that young raw logic flow with the matured mind of the current one. It sounds incredible. From the flow switches to just the lyricism. Amazing

  42. AJ Reynolds

    Should said "Logic: Im black"

  43. Kircala Calli

    thank you

  44. Zaltic

Logic was born in the wrong generation. He's a real OG; true old schooler

  45. Samuel

Legit one of the songs talks about how he’s a man out of time, born in the wrong generation but continuing to honor the legacies of his true generation. Great album.

  46. Assassin V1nce

    @Sam Marina facts

  47. Sam Marina

I say his timing is great, we all needed him when his music came out. He’s been making music before he blew up, people just slept on him

  48. Ash M

I’d say he was born in the right generation, but time traveled here to bless us with his flow XD

  49. Josh A

"Speak on mental health and people laughed at me that's why I tapped out" that one hit hard

  50. Jr S

    That's corny

  51. F Lopez

    @NarcøleptiK lol ok

  52. NarcøleptiK

    @F Lopez cap

  53. MYTH

@____Kampa____ fantano liked the song u don't have to be a hater anymore 🤡

  54. Brian Haydel

Russ demonstrates how a feature should be delivered flawlessly.

  55. Phillip Wood

Crazy how he feels so many people hated on him for his songs highlighting mental health and his own feelings. I think his best music came of Everybody. I know most don’t agree but musically it was amazing and conceptually a great album.

  56. Vic Rose

Logic’s last verse gave me goosebumps! The way he’s able to channel his young Sinatra flow is incredible! Takes you back to a time of nostalgia 🔥🙏🏼 The G.O.A.T.

  57. Bob

This beat is so good. It gives you this running feeling and then a 2:20 verse from Logic that makes it feel like he's literally racing the beat and then they both slide into the finish

  58. Nathan Pillen

I never thought Logic and Russ would be on the same song this song is too fire

  59. big D

Love logic him and his music saved me from my demons during a terrible time in my life all I want to say is thank you logic for everything!!! You and your music has helped millions of people during their dark times! Thank you so much for speaking about mental health this really warms my heart!

  60. spark9

Best Logic track I've heard in a long while, glad he's back

  61. Tristan Michelsen

@Natoc. no pressure had some great tracks.

  62. Jeremy

    @Natoc. probably 44 more

  63. Natoc.

whats the best logic track before this?

  64. Its Always Sunny in Texas

Man this on another level, I feel a lot of Emotions from this track. Russ n Logic...… Masterpiece!

  65. Meda

Bro they both spazzed. I don’t even listen to Russ like that and he killed this and Logic flowed beautifully like always. The hype for Vinyl Days is real 💯

  66. Lil Dihz

Underrated song of the year - ru-clip.com/video/GICjesycCdQ/видео.html

  67. L8Vibezz

@Meda i was talking about eric's idiotic comment

  68. Meda

@L8Vibezz Who says I’m speaking for others?

  69. L8Vibezz

i dont get why you are trying to speak for others when thats just your opinion

  70. KRNG Cozy

This is one of the best songs of Logic's career. No he didn't fall off, dude has always had it!

  71. TheRebelLion96

This is that "lay on the bed and stare at the ceiling with headphones on" type of music!
Had this song on repeat, on and off, almost the whole day!

  72. Alias at Work

"Logic Rose from Jack but even the titantic sank" 🔥 Underrated bar in my opinion - Logic is at his best on tracks like this

  73. Diesel Clockwork (DC)

This was some real shit, bro went hard. Logic and I come from neighboring cities of the same state. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention his influence on me pursuing rap. He was never my favorite rapper but he grew on me hard after I started making my own music and I’ve been a fan since. I’m really proud to see his growth. He’s been overhated by the game for no reason other than trying to be a good guy. I got a ton if love for Logic and his whole body of work hes created for himself. I hope someday I can make our state as proud as you have ❤️✊🏼🙏🏻

  74. Dalmaso Duo

2 of my all time favorites together. Shit gave me chills the whole song. CRAZY track!

  75. Fabio

9 anos acompanhando o Logic, e ainda é emocionante ouvir.

  76. juzer patanwala

"Eight miles from the surface of Earth, feelin' infinite" FUCKING LOVED THIS

  77. Tom Odey

    Em reference?

  78. deez nutz

Thank you Logic, I haven't bumped my head like this in awhile.

  79. Isaac L

A lot of people are going to be skeptical of a Logic and Russ track but this shit is incredible 😮‍💨

  80. Jason S

    Let’s Go

  81. Drippin

    i was

  82. Matt -11

Logic will be forever slept on but he is real hip hop and that is that

  83. Acclimatising

Facts. People hear one of his corny songs and just assume that's his style.

  84. Sir Tsar

Glad Logic is still spitting, I was so sad when I though he was retiring. LOVE YOU LOGIC! THis Collab with Russ is definitely a gift 🔥🐐

  85. Rico Santino

Love this song I’m starting to see lyrics coming back just from everyone makes me happy brings me back gives me hope

  86. Rujay

    What a great collab! 🙏 ❤

  87. Thakgatso Mashego

This is the Logic I fell in love with. Using his voice and skill to draw images of the world he's in.
This feels more genuine than material from the last album. Hope this energy continues...

  88. Dickens Dumont

One thing I can say about a fan of Logic is that they are hip hop heads in some form or fashion. You can't like a artist like Logic and then like garbage rap. No way

  89. Wanit baneet

    ru-clip.com/video/66yjupzBdnQ/видео.html its here finally

  90. Sergio Cardenas

@The Boyfriend Of Your Wife ohh I understand, I do say “wack” or “mid” sometimes but only to my small circle of logic fans. I still support him and have his back regardless of what he drops

  91. The Boyfriend Of Your Wife

@Sergio Cardenas you don’t have to like it but listen to the whole thing and not just listen but take in what he’s saying. Respect it, don’t just call it wack understand how much fought and effort went into it. Not necessarily saying u do that but that’s why the guy you @‘d is trying to say. The majority of ppl do exactly what I just explained and that’s why he retired.

  92. Christian Wasson

    Crazy, in 2017, sophomore year
Riding the bus every morning at 6am with my Headphones
    Listening to Russ and logic
And now they sharing a pen,
    ⚛️🔥

  93. Don

Maaaan Logic bringing them Undeniable vibes back! This is definitely one of my favorite tracks I've heard from him in awhile.
    Russ killed it too.

  94. D Man

Dude that Russ verse is fucking insane, might actually be one of my favourite features of all time. His impeccable flows, the word choices, the way he accentuates certain words over the beat… idk it just sounds so perfect. I can’t stop listening,

  95. Snoopy CODM

These flows are impeccable, always know flows are gonna be crazy from Logic anyway, but Russ bodied this ❄️ both kings of the game 💯

  96. Monkey

Bro Russ snapped. Nothing but bars and a solid flow. I'm glad to see logic having fun with his music more. You can tell just by his wordplay, the flow switches, everything. You guys really supplied us with one badass song.. I love y'all. We need more of you and Russ, Logic. I love it bro. 🔥

  97. Disciple of Improvement

Best Logic song in a while 🔥🔥

  98. The s3cr3t

Two young goats who been on it and beautiful to see them flourish 💯
This a nice song , no hook

  99. Ariel Garcia

So good 🔥 keep it up logic God bless you brother

  100. dillon van sittert

Your music is a blessing 🔥
