I lost my son and all that I feel is stuck. Inside. I would give my life for 5 more minutes from a 5 year old child; I can't seem to get over it. I love this song because the lyrics reflect how I feel from day to day.

20 years ago I stopped by my daughter-in-law family gathering at Christmas. Twas a large number of people and this big old guy back in the the corner starts singing. I commented what a nice voice he has. My in-law laughs and says, "You know who that is don't you?" I said 'Uh, no'. He says "Ronnie Townsen". I responded 'I don't know who that is'. He clarifies, "Ronnie Townsen of the 5th Dimension". I've never been a star struck person and I introduced myself to him. He was quite a normal and likeable person - not the most conversive, though.

Marilyn's voice is like a warm blanket and a hot cup of chocolate.

Marilyn & Billy walked in, and I don't remember who I left on hold, I ran over (after they were off camera) to get an autograph. My, was she beautiful, and if I was older at that time, I would have made eyes at her so very handsome husband. What a couple!

Her voice is beautiful, lovely, sexy and romantic. I can't think of anyone off hand who even comes close to her talents. I could listen to her sing all day. If you really listen to her, she sounds like an angel. What a wonderful human being. Spreading joy to so many people with

In the early 1970s when I was kid, a joke circulated about the song title being about someone who's flatulent all night long----and keeping the entire house awake inhaling whatever it was that disagreed with the offending person's digestive system.
