@Charlie I lived in La Puente/ L.A. for a year and passed through Colorado a couple of times. Washington is risky, being coastal w/San Andreas Fault close-by; I'd say Colorado is ideal. Plus, I have a lot of family in Colorado, from Big Spring, TX.
