Fantastic album best in 10 years. And yep, it sounds like this album or that album...awesome. These guys going strong for 30 years, they can do whatever they want, they’ve earned it!

Mosaic definitely is better than this album: Face in the wind, days of 88, too late, syntax error, the night is young, hey yo, wildfire, forever now, one and the same.

Wildfire is very cool, listening to it again, this new one hit me good, but two prior to mosaic were a bit weak. Evolver is my favorite.

I'm two weeks listening to this album and this song when it plays brings me great feeling. It reflects a lot the way of 311 make music.

Why are they not playing this and Rolling Through from the new album on the current tour?? The best harder songs, throwback feel.

Those 2 are the only ones I can get into at all. This one is decent but better space is pretty tight. The rest kinda suck.

yeah definitely. 311 has a strong Rush influence you can notice in every album. for example, the Uncalm intro reminds me of Cameraman. and Chad uses to play some peart-like fills too!

I’ve been digesting it for two weeks now on repeat. It’s good, up there with some of their better stuff, but far from the best, mosaic has this one topped in my opinion but they’ve been rolling strong in the right direction since sterolithic at least. I’d be content with them taking a hiatus from touring just so they could sit in the studio for the next couple years and turn out several more good albums while they are in this creative groove, because sadly it will all come to an end one day.

@Daniel Borrie blue album is one of their worst overall (worst, in this case, is relative, cause its a great album)...id put any of the last 2, and probably Voyager over it. people are simply nostalgic about it, because that is the album that got most people into 311, me included....but after 25 years of listening to them, i place Blue just ahead of universal pulse and DTOM. as their 3rd to least good album....to each their own though! enjoy what you enjoy, and enjoy enjoying it lol. peace to you!

@Buck Futtler Fair enough. I think it goes to show just how good this band is that even great material is considered lower down in their body of work. Transistor & Soundsystem are my 2 favourite, possibly due to nostalgia reasons.

@Weaponx100 is Which soundsystem and transistor are there two best albums, respectively. Also happens to be when Chad's snare was at its prime. That pitched almost piccolo snare sounding., more rim shots too. I'll never get why he went away from that. Literally the most dope sounding snare of all time. Go listen to a song like leaving babylon (which I actually made a video to. It's my only upload. Tried to make a trippy video. (it's better on shrooms). But yeah, check it out if you'd like. If for no other reason than to hear compare that snare to now.
