Why do they not play this song in concert?

It always amazed me that this song was never a single. One of the best songs in what was a fantastic album. Brings me back to when it released right around the time I graduated from undergrad and I listened to it pretty much every day.

Has to be one of my favorite songs!

I left home “Ohio” at 18, and went to FL for a job that was super stressful and in my mind it was great, but my heart wasn’t in it, “A crowded street can be a quiet place
When your walking alone” I was really lonely and would drink a lot, I really missed home.
A few weeks before I left FL my soccer coach in high school died from cancer, that was really sad, my parents came and visited me and I felt loved again, I felt like no one cared about me but they did, so I waited a couple weeks and after not even 3 months I quit my job and went back home and pretty much listen to this song the whole way home “then just knowing better” and I’m so glad I did. “your mistakes do not define you they tell you who your not” I felt like I failed again and I poured my soul into that job. I didn’t want to feel trapped but “live this life, like it’s the only one You’ve got!”. Now I’m free!! (hiding behind my walls of maybe nevers)

3 doors down-one would think they would have the potential after a song of the caliber of 'loser' off the first album and would come up with something great. Aside from that the lyrics, and melodies in the first album were iconoclastic, melodious and alluring. Yet their later outings and efforts like the one this song belongs to, stink, The lyrics are so obnoxious but at least they get you thinking be it for self defence or for the righteous reason. I mean who in their right frame of mind will overtly if his/her past tries are tainted with stark failures, capital on your strengths don't try to work on your weaknesses. Be rational and positive. As for flying I guess he said it best that you'll never get to fly and you are good with that like that makes sense to you,. It's all in the mind, in your thinking (make intelligent decisions) don't go on the self-slay path of destruction and label it a try else all you'll have left to reap would be devastations that your tries have caused both to yourselves and others. The very walls that protect you shouldn't breach just because someone tells you that you are 'hiding' behind them Pathetic song.
