1975, The - The Man Who Married A Robot / Love Theme Lyrics
This is a story about a lonely, lonely man
He lived in a lonely house, on a lonely street
In a lonely part of the world but of course
He had the internet, the internet, as you know
Was his friend, you could say his best friend
Watching videos of humans doing all sorts of things
Having sex with eachother
Informing people on what was wrong with them in their life
Playing games with young children at home with their parents
One day the man whose name was @snowflakesmasher86 turned to his friend the internet
And he said, "internet, do you love me?"
The internet looked at him and said, "yes, I love you very, very, very, very much. I am your best friend in fact I love you so much that I never ever want us to be apart ever again"
"I would like that" said the man
And so they embarked on a life together
Wherever the man went he took his friend
Except of course the places where the internet could not go
They went to the countryside, they went to birthday parties of the children of some of his less important friends, different countries, even the moon
When the man got sad
His friend had so many clever ways to make him feel better
He would get him cooked animals
And show him the people having sex again
And he would always always agree with him
This one was the man's favourite and it made him very happy
The man trusted his friend so much
"I feel like I could tell you anything" he said on a particularly lonely day
"You can, you can tell me anything, I'm your best friend, anything you say to me will stay strictly between you and the internet"
And so he did, the man shared everything with his friend
All of his fears and desires
All of his loves, past and present
All of the places he had been and was going
And pictures of his penis
He would tell himself, "man does not live by bread alone"
And then he died in his lonely house, on the lonely street
In that lonely part of the world
You can go on his Facebook

Smartness is important in marriage and in a relationship and I’m glad that cyberhackinggenius helped cloned my husband’s phone. I got access to all his dealings both on phone and social media without touching his phone. All I did was share my husband’s phone number with Cyberhackinggenius and I was able to read both his new and deleted messages from my phone without having to touch his phone. My husband was a cheating Narcissist and I’m glad to find out all his secrets and infidelity with the help of cyberhackinggenius. I’m here in UK and able to access my husband’s phone messages with a link on my phone even while he was away in Canada cheating on me. I got to discover that my husband who is legally married to me here in UK is also recently married to another woman in Canada and I’m finally going through a divorce with lots of evidence against him. I read all deleted and recent chats on his Whatsapp, Twitter,Facebook,Instagram messages and Skype. You can contact this great hacker “Gavin” via Gmail (cyberhackinggenius) or text and speak to him directly on his phone and WhatsApp : +19256795146 and I hope you find peace with your heart after finding the truth.

*OK* A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships *Computer*
The first time I heard this song I literally laughed out loud. The last line really caught me off guard and seemed so funny for an ending to a story like this. But now I hear the last line and my lip quivers with sadness
idk whether to laugh or cry
i dont know if i should be laughing or crying, so i guess ill do both
Google it
this makes me feel a lot
Deep song, shallow comment section.
They are actually fucking genius, y'all should search snowflakesmasher86 on facebook
matt what the fuck
Fitter Happier. Except more cringeworthy and pretentious. In a bad way.
anyone else cry?
Would've been better just as an instrumental.
Love this song!!
Man...this got me very emotional. Such a well-thought work of art...such a good mirror of what's going on.
Still a better love story than Twilight.
This is why they’re just the best band
this is literally there album name as a story, A brief inquiry into online relationships.
Noobmaster69
not buying this song for the simple reason that i'll be all in my feelings and then the reddit voice will freaking scare me
This live tho.....
This sounds like the ending of a short film or something when all of the sudden the credits start rolling and you are just left there processing what just happened and that the main character didnt end up with what makes him happy and you just sit there and are forced to be content with the ending of it all
fitter
happier
more productive
It has some similarities to Radiohead's Fitter Happier but some important differences as well. They are both clearly talking about the hypocrisies and struggles of modern life, and how, when the world is supposed to be getting better, it doesn't feel like that at all for certain people. However, there are differences. Fitter Happier evokes anger at the way the world tells us to live, all the guides to 'right living' that don't make us happy. On the other hand, here The 1975 evoke sadness about how people can get sucked into a life lived on the internet and an obsession with internet pornography that can be very isolating and damaging. They probably were influenced by Radiohead when writing this but to say that it's a 'dumbed down version' or anything like that misses the point. These feelings of dissatisfaction with (post-)modern life aren't going anywhere, in fact they're evolving as the world changes. It's a different song and people who identify with one might not identify with the other. Just because you're more familiar with Radiohead doesn't mean this song lacks depth.
Fitter, happier
More productive
2:32, that note in particular gives me chills
Is this Fitter Happier?
And he does make art thank you very much
HER : Soundtrack
It reminds me so much of Roxy Music's song from the For Your Pleasure album called In Every Dreamhome A Heartache. Not as good but scarier.
This is a bad rip off of Fittier Happier
I cant imagin matt being an internet weirdo.
The piano gives me some Koe no Katachi vibes, but that's prob just my weeb ass over here
Song is creative and creepy

The 2010s version of 'Fitter Happier' by Radiohead.
I wonder if that was the influence.
The 1975 deserve a Grammy for this album and it's depth.
The honesty and "simpleness" (in a positive way) of this really reminds me of Bo Burnham. Absolutely brilliant
Fitter, Happier, More Productive
This reminds me of "a story of boy meets girls"
Person who wrote this song baths with his dad
*this album is so different and strange yet so beautiful and captivating, I don’t know what the fuck to feel*
Siri is strangely a great storyteller 👍
This remembers me to "The Sad Man"
Can Radiohead sue the 1975 please
Radiohead ripoff. The automated voice the fact its about technology, the whole of OK computer was about advancements in technology. Even the piano is the same fml.

It's just really ironic that I'm here, contemplating about the internet. On the internet.

One day in the future, AI will be advanced enough to write their own poetry and I imagine it will sound close to this
The piano is so gorgeous
Brutal beauty.

I'm getting her vibes.
The 1975 used to have good original work. They can do so much better than this. The entire album is an ok computer tribute mixed in with some bon iver.

this album deserves a grammy
*_and pictures of his penis_*
This is giving me Fitter Happier vibes. I like it.
La amo 🖤🖤🖤🖤
This is... genius. These guys have grown so much over the years, going from songs like Sex (which is still one of my faves from them) to criptic artistic and social statements like this one... i am so proud. Proud of them and proud of having the privilege to be their fan. So fcking proud.
Best song on the album
When i heard it for the first time i thought "what kind of Fitter Happier is this?"
when I first heard this I thought it was about a pedophile and a kid? I’m I just that fucked up?
guys you can actually go on his Facebook woah https://www.facebook.com/snowflakesmasher86/
the lyrics are literal and intense but the instrumental is so surreal and visceral wow I love this band
lebani lisa listen to Radiohead’s OK computer
RIP SnowflakeSmasher86
Is it just me or does he sound like ben whishaw
Bright Eyes reference very, very, very, very, very, very much so.
Fitter happier, more productive.
Make an actual music video for this plsss
This is a so blatantly obvious rip off of Fitter Happier by Radiohead.
Jug Head it’s not a rip off, a rip off would have the same sound and lyrics, just slightly altered. The word you’re looking for is inspired by, and taking inspiration from, and that is ok. No band in history has made a record that is completely uninspired, they have all taken inspiration from those who have come before them.
