(Sandy) Alex G - Walk Away Lyrics
I'm gonna walk away from you
Not today
Not today
Not today
Someday
Not today
Not today
Not today
Someday
I'm gonna walk away from you
(I don't want, I don't want, I don't want to)
Not today
Not today
Not today
Someday
(I don't want, I don't want, I don't want to)
Not today
Not today
Not today
Someday
I'm gonna walk away from you
(Don't let me lose, don't let me lose)
Not today
Not today
Not today
I'm gonna walk away from you
(Don't let me lose, don't let me lose)
Not today
Not today
Not today

(Sandy) Alex G Walk Away Comments
Can't wait to see him in a couple weeks!
He fucking hypnotizes me with that godly atonal voice
I don't think he's gonna walk away today. Just a wild guess.
The intro to the song was so trippy I loved it
The intro to this song sounded like a mentally disabled cat
I’ve been trying to figure out what it’s saying in the background at 0:59 I know in the background of 3:19 it says “he ain’t never coming back” but I am just fixed on trying to figure it out. I think it might be saying “ooo daddy what do you think, we love you daddy love you daddy” but I’m not sure
Lesly Sanchez I think it may be saying “ooo daddy ooo daddy we love you daddy love you daddy”
One of the most powerful songs in his vast catalogue. Floors me sometimes, crying in front of 50 people at work but not quite crying, holding back tears of everyone you've ever lost
could you please advise smth similar?
disliking this song makes your karma worse
🙏🏼
Thanks Alex g this is exactly the music I needed in my life at this exact moment
I like this song,it's ok.
Does anyone know what the oriental sounding instrument is called?
Lycoris93 I think it’s a Sitar.
This song is equal parts meditation and anxiety. The repetition and layering on this track pair phenomenally well with those bass lines. The lyrics make me feel like I am being driven to the brink of insanity, like sticking around hopelessly for something that will never be.
Alex G oldie but goodie
This is it chief
Thank you🦋🐺StephopalOpal aka Big Mama New Orleans Louisiana..Appreciate..Have a creative smooth day
David's been very busy with the uploads because really there has been so much good music this friday!
- Surf Curse (Heaven Surrounds You)
- Belle and Sebastian (Days of Bagnold Summer) <3 (my favorite)
- Metronomy (Metronomy Forever)
- Alex G (House of Sugar)
- Alex Cameron (Miami Memory) - never really liked his music, but this is really funny, has that Jarvis Cocker Pulp-ish humour and quirky but rich classical sound mixed with electronics
- Long Beard (Means to Me)
- Jeremy Ivey (The Dream and The Dreamer) - a beautiful discovery! nine beautiful songs!
- Devendra Banhart (Ma)
- The Lumineers (III) - Not a favorite, but has some pretty catchy anthem songs that prove how they made the formula over the years
I bought the last Long Beard album and after hearing the track posted here I'll be spending $ on the new one. I have to thank David!
